Talk to Hawk, then start the Crestwood mission. When you get back to Skyhold she will be in her room at the tavern. When you get the castle and everyone is in the garden before you talk with them, but sera is still there. What should i do to get her out of the garden and in to her room?

Dang, I need a sarcasm detector the subtle nuances of BSN forum members continue to elude me.
Well it wasn't sarcasm, but I was suggesting that not knowing one's history and yet being super proud of it is fairly common.

You don't even have to start a main story mission as I recall. Just leave Skyhold, go somewhere else and come back.

Indeed, I figured that out. I agree with you 100% unless of course you were making an entirely different point as in not knowing one's own history but, being super proud of it is a good thing...in which case I would disagree.Well it wasn't sarcasm, but I was suggesting that not knowing one's history and yet being super proud of it is fairly common.

Sera surprised me though. I just focused on Dorian, Cass, and my 2H warrior, using guard and barrier to keep them alive and figured she'd just get squished, but her AI did a pretty good job of using stealth to avoid attacks.
Yeah, she backflips a lot to attack, uses stealth and rolls right/left. Gurl is impossible to catch. ![]()

Indeed, I have to constantly babysit her when fighting Dragons. It's maddening at times but, nonetheless she is one of my favorite characters in the Dragon Age series. If only.....Sera! Stop trying to kiss the dragon! >.<

Sera is the one I have to babysitt the least out of all the companions I've brought with me. That girl just don't want to get hit and she do a fine job avoiding it

Yup. You can explore and do side quests all you like. The only thing to consider is the suggested levels that they give for the main story quests. If you get higher than the top end of the suggested range then the enemies will stop scaling and you'll be OP for the encounters in the story. Maybe you think that's a good thing. Similarly if you go in at a lower level than the suggested range then you're going to find it tough. Beyond that you can basically do what you want (as long as you have built up enough power). The story quests will still be the same when you do them.

Doesn't help that my first playthrough was a DW rogue and i had to pay attention to what i'm doing just to stay alive. Didn't have much time to babysit the crew >.<

Yeesh she does. Kinda wish that we could turn in to a dragon after the well bit. Bet she would give elfiness a pass then ![]()

Huh, I didn't know that. I'm currently at lvl 24 and about to start What Pride Had Wrought, which recommends lvl 16-19.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that the enemies scale within that range. I'm currently at level 16 doing Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts and all the enemies are Level 15, which is the top end of the suggested range. Similarly I did In Hushed Whispers at one level above the recommended and the enemies were a level below me. I did Here Lies the Abyss at 15 and the enemies were also 15. again top end of the suggested range.

Being OP means "Mwahahaha, YOU ALL DIE NOW, and I might stand a chance at not getting partywiped in a horrible fashion!"
Well, not for Arianne. She wiped a rift several levels higher back when she first entered Emprise du Lion.
Small skirmishes are ok, if I can keep control of the battlefield. It's big fights that force me to loosen by bowels in fear.

D'aw, banter between Viv and Sera something something about her boot, Denerim and "She makes me happy" between a sentence. After that line, i forgot what they were saying. My quizzy also replied with "Awww, was that romantic?".
Apparently the argument was that Viv disapproved our rs and Sera showed her fangs and got the last word this time. Boy, i wouldn't be surprised if my quizzy was biting her own lip the whole time. ![]()
I wish i could remember the exact words, mehhhhh.

I will confess that there's some hope for Sera, as she's capable of moving past creepy magical goings-on from a mage Inquisitor who's taken a specialization (especially relevant for a necromancer). I also suspect that it's psychologically healthier for her to be in a relationship with a non-elf and that her path of maturation would ultimately be less rocky that way.

Glad to see you're finding a way, Xil ![]()
