No, she clearly might have access to information that you might be able to use. She very clearly has a problem with authority, however, and whatever favors you think she did you weren't actually to your benefit and might even be heavily to your detriment in the long run. There's "style" and there's actual efficiency, and from where my character stands she didn't make a very good case for herself.

That's fine. My strategy focused character felt she was worth the risk. He knew from personal experience that the "little people" are vital, and being a dwarf, he had none in Orlais. He figured that at the very least, when she was dealing with the Orlesians, she would come in handy. And she did, she provided him with a noble whose lands he could take and force into servitude and gave him information at the ball. Also, a jar of bees. He was more than willing to entertain her silliness, because she was useful, and he could tell she would make a loyal ally.

It's not the blood but the emotion building behind the scene. I can handle all the violence in battles, but seeing it in a cutscene makes me feel instantly vulnerable and uncomfortable.

Ouch though, that sounds horrific. <3

Didn't hurt. I don't even remember blacking out; probably why its called a black out. Turns out an ambulance was called, they checked me over, gave me a donut.

Life IS good!

Edit: I feel sorry for my tutor. Apparently she was frantic when she found out. "But it was only a small cut!"

If by 'last romance content' you mean the scene where you can propose marriage, then it's after 'Here Lies the Abyss'. Take her with you there and it should trigger some time afterwards.

That's the Warden one right? If so all I get is the fade conversation. She's completely topped out in approval with no more conversation points except the ones I've used already. I wish they would release the latest patch for the Xbox one, although I don't know if it will help. The first two attempts it never triggered now I'm hesitant to take this third attempt any further. I may just wait until they fix it. This is a new experience for me, I've never had a game content not work before and I'm not handling it very well.

Be patient. He eventually cracks the ice. You'll see.

I wonder if I should bring both along more often.

I usually don't simply because they're both rogues and I like to have my party nicely balanced out.

Then the question though is if my male noble is a rogue, is the party completely unbalanced?

It would be me: dual daggers/quick damage, Sera: archer, Cole: assassin

I'm not sure what you're trying to do here, you clearly have your mind made up in regards to not recruiting her for your Inquisition so hmm this feels like an pointless exercise.

And she actually has information that we can use in game, none of this might it is available at the war table to do whatever you see fit with it. Sera likes to humble the nobility this isn't new info in regards to her character so I'm not sure how you found her unorthodox style surprising in that regard, she is known as the wildcard afterall.

Have I not said twice now that it's your prerogative to make the decision you feel is right? I'll say it a third time. Other opinions are, however, available.

I don't need your permission to have a prerogative, and obviously other opinions are available, what does that matter? If you argue with me then don't complain when I pick those arguments apart, and don't make fun of me when you no longer have anything to say.

I'm sorry Danielle. :( I was so so so upset about Dorian's glitch, like I STILL am even though I used the workaround on my second PT, and I can't even imagine how upset I would be if I was romancing him in that PT instead of just being BFFs

Just got Sera on my second playthrough. Playing a no-romance, "emerald knight" type of a character this time who is headcanoned to have a husband and children back at the clan. So this time the relationship with Sera will be more parent/child one with quizzy being reminded of her own kids by Seras antics and so far it's actually fitting wonderfully :P

As for the violent outburst bit people were talking about earlier....Meh. I let Sera take out the trash straight away and wasn't really bothered by how she went about it. Other than her wasting effort after the arse biscuit was already dead. "Honestly, you're just making wine now" :P    ....Violence just doesn't move me at all. Comes from it being a constant fact of life for me, I suppose.

Hehehehehe.

Funny, innit :D

YEAH! COMMIT TO MURDERING ME!

YEAH! GO ON, KILL ME ALREADY!

AHAHAHA, I KNEW YOU WERE TOO WEAK!

*kills noble*

AHAHAHAHAHA, TRY KILLING ME NOW!

I bet your wishing you were a rogue right now, amirite?

Winter's Grasp + Twin Fangs has been my go to for Terror Demons.

Also, Fade Step for getting mages out of the way quickly.

Actually, Flask of Lightning, be a Pricess Stabbity, when that goes up, Flask of Fire, spam Deathblow.

If you need to peace out, use upgraded Flank Attack. Because why leave without one final blow, when you can kill the guy while peacing out?

I mean, dual wield Tempest Rogues are just SO DAMN AWESOME!

Is it wrong that I'm 152 hours into my first playthrough and still not done?

Yes, that's how much I've been exploring. At this point, my journal only displays the main quest as incomplete

Naaaw, sounds about right.

I spose you can use them as fodder in boss fights.

Quizzy: "We're low on health, distract it while we drink potions."

Nobles: "But fighting is not for us."

*Pushes nobles in front of dragons*

Quizzy: "I'm not asking."

Noble: "But..."

*Quizzy gives him a LOOK*

Noble: "If it will help save Thedas..."

Exactly. I was just making the point that is there a difference really between what Sera does and what you as the Inquisitor have been doing all along? I don't know about anyone else but I know I am trying to right the world as I see it but I am also kicking some heads in while doing that and it hasn't all been neat or tidy or morally black and white either. I've already incurred Dorian's disapproval for hacking off his mentor's head. There is an argument that that guy was merely trying to help his kid however there was another argument that in trying to help his kid he got a lot of people killed and probably more would have died. I don't regret chopping him. Sorry Dorian.

I didn't trust someone with bloody time magic to sit pretty in a cell and not screw stuff up, so yes I also executed Alexius. Dorian was very sweet about it with me though, said he understood why I had to.

To add to the 'is Sera useful' debate: she's the wildcard. Literally. She's that card that can be anything you need it to be. Sometimes it's useless, sometimes it's helpful, but it's always good to have it available.

Her focus ability turns her into a murder machine. She pwns hard. Sure it's tempting sometimes (ok, often) to go 'shut up, Sera!' But that's the way she is.

I vote we get an item in the game called 'Sera Snacks' to make her be quiet for a while. Item description: a hard, sweet toffee popular in the Northern part of Ferelden. It is extremely sticky, making it almost impossible to talk while eating one.

Cue mumbling sound. :D

Upgraded flask of fire + thousand cuts.... that is major pwnage.

That makes sense, but it all depends on whether your character is willing to take that first leap of faith.

I like it when you get disapproval for actions the characters know are essential, like with Dorian there and Cass in other places.

Makes them feel more human. Of course he's going to be sad, he loved Alexius, but he's also mature enough to not put that on you.

Cass's are kind of hilarious. "I don't disapprove" UH YEAH YOU DID I SAW IT CASS I KNOW. But again, haha, it's a nice maturity. She doesn't like what you did, but she respects your decisions and will try to go with them.

Nah...rogues are awesome in this game.

sooooo awesome

I think there were some running a 3-4 rogue party on nightmare.

Only issue is missing energize or warrior bash I guess. I read that Rift Mage can do both of those though, so one of them plus three rogues is good.

You must have had better approval or something cause he was cool (not the good way) with me about it. But yeah I didn't want him working for me or just sitting in a cell.

How is killing Alexius possibly necessary?
