As I continue my own slow playthrough, I just finished Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.

I was under the impression that I had to choose between Celene, Gaspard and Briala, but I appear to have forced them to work together. This should be interesting...

 

It's been a while since I last played Origins. I'd forgotten quite how much Claudia Black's Morrigan voice makes my insides turn to butter... T'was not long before I remembered. 

 

I wanted to see Sera dance with my quizzy but It faded out and ended the quest. Boo...

I got Cullen to dance with me and it was the sweetest scene ever. He protested the whole night against a dance and then gave in. 

 

Sad you didn't get your dance though.

But she did come and comfort Tressa just before. And asked her what was wrong because she was outside on the balcony. Another nail in the coffin of "Sera doesn't care about anyone but herself."

Oh yes, it wasn't a full dance which is too bad.

I think that scene was my favourite of the entire game!

Personally I like that Sera doesn't have any plans for changes. In many ways I find her to have the best insight into politics and her role in it in the party. There will always nobs on top and those nobs always needs to be taken down a peg no matter who they are, how much down (it goes from pranks to killing) depends but she will never approve of acually elevating someone in power. It's not so much a goal as it is a way of life really and thats why many people can't figure her out.

Hey, for those who have played Hard and Nightmare, what's the difficulty difference between them? I'm kind of wishing I had tried Nightmare at first for this run, because Hard is not that difficult so far, and I could have dropped down if Nightmare was unbearable.

Hard: felt like was being slapped around by bookie but with proper planning its piece of cake

Nightmare: dont wanna talk about it... its that hard

Pretty rough if you don't pick your battles right, veeia.

Luckily I have my build locked down so it's not so bad but I would never attempt NM as anything other than my preferred Rogue.

I can go to sleep happy. Got the Wicked Grace scene. Cassandra lightens up and her and Varric are chummy. Loved what happened to the loser and the funny bit with Sera at the end. Oh and Bull passing out into his plate was hilarious!

I was considering nightmare for my next playthrough. I've yet to wipe a single time after well over 100 hours playing on hard, although I've not fought a dragon yet...

Hard just feels like the "oh, by the way, we have tac cam and you should probably use it and also crafting" setting to me. Like, I imagine if I had tried to start playing on Hard, I would have had problems, because it takes me awhile to get all the game systems down, but so far it's a lot easier than I feared. 

 

...I am back to having appropriate level of fear towards Nightmare though. 

 

I love it when I am switching to Sera in battle and she's paused in some ridiculous position like this.

Hmm that dilemma was a no brainer for me, I don't trust the qunari myself, will always pick the Chargers.

 

I also found it a no brainier.

That dreadnought probably has a crew of several hundred, the Chargers are what, half a dozen?

 

Though the correct choice would have been to crash into those Tevinter troops from behind...

Omg, finally Kayna sealed the romance with Sera, I'm going to scream I'm so excited. I'm finally free to move on to another game. I have no idea why it worked this time but I'm thanking Harding for the 7 or so Sera approves Kayna got for flirting with her.

I am so relieved, wow do I need a drink after that ordeal.
