Buahahahaha......go tell that to Sera and Varric..they both flip back..and Woops!!! Down they go..and bar of health goes down

Sometimes your not even safe with no cliffs in sight. I've also had a glitch where I do the back flip then spaz out to 50 ft in the air. Good things elves are springy.... And now I've got the Tigger song in my head playing to that image.

Yup, got the dragon bane achievement and everything. Just gotta make sure your flanking the enemy at all times. And of course take the Tempest specialization. I recked the Sandy Howler in The Hissing Wastes in only a few minutes without abusing the Hidden Blades attack.

I've played both the DW rogue and the archer and have to say i enjoyed the archer more. Even with the constant flying about the map. The rogues stealth move is also your get out of combat free card when you find yourself in over your head.

Not me...made an aeducan and castless dwarf but due to their freakish long arm..I was never been able to play beyond the starting story . I usually quit at Ostagar..cose DAO was soo boring to me . My main was Dalish and City elf...and Cousland . 3 toons I finished the game with . Loved City elf best..followed by dalish and Cousland .

The combat might feel a little stiff at first, especially coming off a Mage playthrough. They are much more maneuverable compared to warriors though. If you don't like it you could always respec to archer. They are very similar to mages combat wise.

I love Origins for what it does well, but it could be pretty amazingly dull.

I played through DA:O so many times I broke the disc. First playthrough was a Dalish, Leliana romance, and Dark Ritual with Alistair. I played through all the origins eventually but my Dalish rogue will always be my cannon warden.

TBH I wasn't the greatest fan of DAO either; ME1 spoiled me for cinematics and voice acting. Going back to a mute protagonist, when everyone else in the world was voiced, felt like a backward step (hint for videogame devs everywhere: either voice everyone, or noone. Doing it half-assed is just awkward). Conversely when they decided to mix in some of the ME formula to create DA2, I was quite happy with the result.

For me..the truth is , when I got DAO....my graphic card didnt support DirectX 11 . So it was crash every 5min . I remember my 1st playtrough in the Mage tower..it crashed so many time..it drove me bonker . I was able to finish the game using a freaking cheat 'kill all hostiles''..due to that . After that it left me bitter...now today with the Upgrade I have , the game run without any crash..but I cant just bring myself to play anymore . It just..muh . Add to that , I do not find the game very.....replayable . It is same old...same old . No matter what everyone say...

I like both, andI actually prefer that my warden only showed up as a war table mission. It was cool to make and see Hawke but she said some things that I'd never have had my Hawke say. I don't think she really needed to be there...

Many many people prefer Origins to two, Poodle. I count myself among them, although I enjoyed 2. I have over 700 hours logged on that game on Steam. Less than half that for 2.

It's funny, I bought DA:O and DA2 together while waiting on ME3 coming out and DA:O completely overshadowed it for me. I enjoy Dragon Age way more than Mass Effect. I do like DA2 now, but when I first played it, I admittedly was thinking, what on earth have they done.

I enjoyed both. But DA:O needs to be placed on a pedestal in the middle of a museum.
