Rift mage is fun! Tressa is a rift mage. Pull of the abyss and then unload all the AOEs!

Well, the Inquisitor version of mage armors looks pretty sweet. I think I'll try to find blue cloth for Zelda. She's a blonde and she looks good in blue. Dem pajamas doe... they're flipping awful. If they had gone with black instead of off-white it would have been better.

I really like the standard mage armours, although it seems that Alexia isn't too keen... Tressa picked up this rather snazzy purple number in Halamshiral. She's wearing it as she goes searching for Tier 3 schematics...

There's plenty of lazurite in the Western approach. If you do the Darkspawn sidequest there you'll get to an area where it's plentiful. In the northern area of the map. There's some in the Hissing Wastes too.

 

Edit: Geological guide!

 

Hinterlands: iron, onyx, drakestone and obsidian (where the dragon is for the last)

Stormcoast: serpentstone, summer stone and iron

Fallow Mire: blue vitriol and summer stone

Crestwood: iron and obsidian

Emprise du Lion: bloostone, silverite, everite and dawnstone

Emerald Graves: pyrophite (and some other I can't remember)

Exalted Plains: veridium and obsidian

Western Approach: paragon's luster and lazurite

Hissing Wastes: nevarite and volcanic aurum

Forbidden Oasis: paragon's luster and another I don't remember

 

Some materials are found in other areas, but not as much as the main ones. Emprise du Lion and Hissing Wastes have lots of tier 3 metals (everite, silverite, nevarite and volcanic aurum).
