If you want a laugh I recommend putting those on Solas with an Orlesian mage hat. Not quite his normal look!

See my edit. Haven't got the Keeper robes from the Emerald Graves. I got distracted and never finished them. I was going to go back after I've found enough tier 3 stuff to be totally badass.

Oh. Well, I'm not exactly IN the ruins themselves yet, but I'm closing in.
Anyway, I jinxed it with my last post, and had to resort to my veritable arsenal of WMDs I carry around in an engagement.
Weapons of Mass Destruction used:
1x Mark of the Rift, tier 1
1x Jar of Bees, unupgraded
Currently, I'm waiting for extra stockpiles of WMDs before attempting another such skirmish.

One thing I don't get by the way: Fade rifts level with you even though everything else around doesn't, which would be fine. You could say that the threat is growing as time goes by or something. Except if they are tied to a quest that's not "close all rifts in X area" they don't. Yesterday I did a few in The Exalted Plains that were on my level (17 at the time), but the one in that fort to the north that you have to seal in order to blow the war horn was at level 11... Silly.
Turns out the ruins aren't accessible yet. Ugh!
I shall find a way, though!

I left the Forbidden Oasis for last. When I got there, I was lvl 22 and each rift literally took less than 30 seconds.

I don't know... Maybe some do and some don't, or maybe there's a level cap for each area where they stop. Definitely I was fighting level 17 demons both in Emerald Graves and Exalted Plains rifts yesterday before I decided to go to Emprise du Leon.

They kept levelling for me. There were two in The Hinterlands which I couldn't do. Came back at level 16 or 17, they were still a higher level than me. There isn't anything in The Hinterlands above level 12. The Dragon is level 12! Demons are more powerful than dragons!
Dam so sera doesn't like that we take in prisoners instead of killing them in the field, but i guess it is possible to gain her approval if i do the right thing when i am judging the villain?

Got the dialogue with Sera (all quests done, friendship, very high approval, only did get some minor disapproval from her here and there) where she tells you you're stupid lol (after Arbor Wilds I think). I really wish I had a "childish" option to answer her there... a sort of "?! No... you're stupid!". Because she was a bit silly at that moment. But oh well...

I don't think rifts level with you. I am lvl 19 and I am still finding lvl 15 ones and when I was lvl 16 I got badly wiped by a lvl 20 one near the Emerald Knights Tomb in Emerald Graves. I am going to hit that one again later.
Enemies will follow you long distances I notice for a fight. Had a Giant follow me for an insane distance in the Emerald Graves. Followed me right to the door of the tomb and I had not wanted the fight must have disengaged three or four times. Sometimes it feels so good to kill stupid mother******* He got more than he bargained for!

I'm honestly not sure how it works. I think some are tied to specific missions and don't level up. Perhaps others are set artificially high to guard some specific place. I do get the impression that "run of the mill" rifts level with you though, at least to an extent. Certainly all the rifts I closed yesterday in three different areas matched my level, bar one which was tied to a specific quest. Maybe it was just chance. That's certainly not impossible.

She's silly at quite a few moments, but I rather like that about her.

You might be right. To test it I'd have to see if the lvl 20 rift near the Knight's Tomb is tied to a quest or if it's one outside of any specific rifts quest in the region. That area though is a cluster---- of higher level enemies and in pretty good number.
