I'm surprised Morrigan didn't choose that name for Kieran.

That kid walked right off the set of The Omen.

Omfg, now i can't unsee.

Greek might work well actually given that there is Alexius in the game which is more Greek than Roman and I believe Dorian suggests that the Trevelyans are kin to his people so a Byzantine style Greek name (Alexius was a common Byzantine name) might be plausible. Heraclius Trevelyan?

Herakles is not even a byzantine name tho. :P

It's a very ancient one.

Ok.. how about Agrippa. I seriously suck at names. -_-

Oh I know I was thinking along the lines of the Tevinter connection to the Trevelyans and Tevinter being loosely based on the Byzantines (extremely loosely :P) and that reminded me of Heraclius the Byzantine emperor but I used the anglicized spelling of his name. Forgive me.

Anything particularly special about vowels?

It's a visceral thing. Because it rhymes with bowels. *runs away*

Misplaced punctuation.

Ahhh. Ok. I'll leave it at that then. I get the feeling that this topic could be considered private.

Oh no problem. I totally forgot there was an emperor with the name Heraclius.... but yeah, it comes from the ancient greek name Herakles. :D

It's a wonderful name. I think I prefer the Greek spelling Orchid. I might use it for one of my playthroughs.  :D

I was considering Ares at one point. It needs to begin with a vowel; it's the one point I won't budge on. :P

The old Greek God of war?

Not bad. Not bad at all...

I refuse to have any?

Clever person.

I mean, I already get to see what kids are like in school. Little sh*ts, the lot of them.

If I'm going to make a living that way, I don't want to come home to the exact same thing.

P.S.: Reading "About the Holy Bible" is such a dull thing to do, IMHO... But, exams... Maybe if I wasn't an atheist...?

Nah, just a minor disgust at the idea of having/raising kidlets. :P

As a life long hardcore Agnostic all I can say is I've read the Bible through three times. Know your enemy. Plus a lot of art and literature is grounded in it. It helps to have an understanding of it even if you're not buying into all of that baggage.

Try reading the Qur'an. That feels like trying to read code.

Oh, I don't really mind reading the thing, it's just sort of boring to me - maybe if I was religious, it would be less boring to me?

And if I wish to know any sort of enemy in this way, perhaps reading something regarding middle east is a better choice.

Oh well, here's hoping they'll eventually get the idea of "Live and let live"...

How we are all related. That's the bit I don't understand. I thought Christians considered incest wrong? To be fair, incest itself is pretty f***ed up.

A lot of religions need that attitude!  :P But I understand what you're saying. The Bible isn't always entertaining. The thing is the best part for me was the Old Testament because God is some sort of junior league psychotic wiping out whole civilizations for rather minor transgressions. Then in the New Testament everything gets kind of dull because everyone is so nice and pleasant until they decide to torture a guy and leave on a pole for a few hours wherein it reverts to form!

It's largely incomprehensible and how anyone can take it as a moral guide has always baffled me.

On second thought maybe Lels does need to destroy the Chantry :P

That description reminds me of "The European sh*tstorm of revolutions of 1848" - an alternative name given to the Spring of nations by me :D

Ok.. how about Agrippa. I seriously suck at names. -_-

Agrippa is pretty damn badass as names go. Also: Babylon 5. The EAS Agrippa is destroyed in the massive battle that precedes the scene I showed a week or two ago where the debate about tactics ensued...
