The starting tier 1 inquisition armor is...not good. At all. they basically gave me Sebastian's old fit...I suppose because I'm an archer and the bow is very low level.
Get to Val Royaux ASAP. They have tier 2 schematics. Try to farm some gold because they're pricey.

Luvs qunari and is constantly scared if her tall gf becomes a scary mage..... so, qunari mage is best, IMO.

Hehe, can anyone confirm for me that there aren't horrible animation issues with Sera and a Qunari? I think that's my biggest issue---the romance scene with Dorian was...not great..Qunari is the only race I haven't given a serious shot to yet, just played on my son's character, which is how I saw that scene, so I'm leaning towards it.

The animation scenes with her and Qunari aren't too bad overall - there's a bit of camera clipping but the only blatantly odd thing I've seen is the repeatable kiss on the terrace scene where the faces don't quite line up as they start making out xD
But yeah, her and Qunari mage is probably the most fun 
I'm disappointed Qunari seems to have so many animation issues, when dwarf only had a few awkward bits, but I'm not gonna let that stop me!

Yeah, I figured it out. I was missing 1 specific dialogue option lol, I had asked about her friends but didn't take the conversation any farther total durp moment.Just read my comment back to myself. I don't mean to sound like I'm pointing out that the problem us you just haven't talked to her enough. You've probably gone through every option available multiple times. I thought the problem might be similar to when you're romancing leliana and you have to ask about her being a bard or the romance won't start. If the problem is approval try looking for some of The Red Jenny Caches.
