My first DA:O and canon Warden was pretty serious...her name is Derhi. But she did name the dog Mangy, to troll Alistair. (His line before you name the dog is "he's not mangy!!!")

Hawke tho. I mean, I played snarky hawke romancing Isa. How do you not have silliness there? Her name was Fred, lol.

I said this yesterday but I laugh that you can lose approval for asking the wrong questions of guests but nobody seems to mind you crawling up the trellis in the garden like Tarzan!

Yep. There are a few things that influence the choice of Divine.

Conscipt mages/ally with Templars, Celene rules alone = most likely Vivienne

Free Mages, Briala/Gaspard or Briala/Celene = most likely Leliana

Cassandra is a bit more unpredicatable, but if you side with Gaspard alone she might end up Divine. (that did it for me)

I allied with the Mages, made Celene/Briala/Gaspard work together to rule Orlais, and never chose any dialogue option with Vivienne that indicated any support for her as Divine, and Cassandra was elected.

But the game..was really made for a Human.....warrior . I mean , execution is with a sword...that is taller then elf and dwarf LOL (ok that part was hilarious)....and really...facing coryphishit as a mage..and ya go for the sword ??? Ya dont need no stick !!!

Naming him Gamlen yells "Animal abuse" at me, though

I think it's more of a "Oh sh*t, ancient monster guy, need weapon - oh, sword!" *picks up* "Oh sh*t, how do I use this?"

 

Let's not forget that a sword is STILL the most common weapon in both medieval times, AND Thedas. Thus the highest chance of you actually bumping into one, rather than a MUCH, MUCH rarer Mage staff, or somewhat uncommon (on a battlefield like that particular bit) dagger.

 

As for the execution sword and the one you raise when you become Quizzy...

It's pretty hard to behead someone with a staff or a dagger.

And the other (or maybe they're one and the same) is ceremonial, probably combat-capable, but not quite intended for it.

I had one called Blood Mange and one called Marsbari.

I only had 1 Hawke - Felicity (she's the one exception to the vowel rule and I hate her, so she doesn't count) , but 7 Wardens: Arabella, Alina, Aleia, Aedric, (Paris, but he's my evil ruler and I wasn't being serious, so he doesn't count either), Lurlina (my only mage playthrough, and wow I have a ton of excpetions...) and I can't remember what I named my male noble warrior. Possibly Adam.
