Responsibility and duty are what shaped Leliana, kitten. They come with leadership and weight terribly but someone's got to bear them to keep the world from tearing itself apart so the Red Jennies can be the carefree prankster that they are

Dont give me a lecture...this early (6am)...especially when I have a major bewbz hangover..and have no aspirin to chase it away   

 

I know that , I'm not blind . I know about duty and responsability . But it doesnt always end well...not for everyone (Point at Aribeth ) check how that one....duty and responsability..how much ''Good' it did her....

 

I understand that some believe...that one has to do the crappy job....cose someone outta to . Like leliana.....she believe she has to do the bad choice like killing...so something is done..so the mass is safe . 

 

Well..while I understand this reasoning...and I understand the necessity of it.....I still believe it has a flaw . Well make that 2 !!!

 

1- It make those on the receiving end of this 'sacrifice'...Lazy and depandant . They never learn or do something on their own...cose there is someone outta there who will fight the baddie for them...

2- When the one who has to do the crappy job..end up miserable..twisted..and fed up with life..or turn renegade...peoples get the pitchfork fast . They are open arm for when that person burn his own soul for them..but when it rise too high like a pheonix and burn ...none is there with a fire extanguisher..wich is a shame...cose it come off as 'Ohhh ya helped us too much..now ya are burning..but we never know how to help ya in return when ya need us..so we just watch ya burn.....'

Yet she has done more good as the left-hand-that-holds-the-dagger than ever before during her previous carefree existance. *shurgs* 'Bad' people do all sorts of unsavory things in the shadows so the 'good' people get to live never knowing the terrors waiting in the dark. Leliana chose duty over personal happiness...and i have the utmost respect for her because of it

Sera knows that the friends of Red Jenny are never going to do more than ruffle the feathers of the nobility. She is massively frustrated by that but she's actually fully aware that a full-on revolution would just create more arseholes in charge. She sees the inquisition as a chance to actually do something about a world that she thought she could never change, but she's massively wary. She really wants to make sure that you're not just like all the other nobles, because what would be the point in helping another arsehole gain power? That's my reading of her, anyway

while its admirable....Its very tragic . Because....by doing what she does...like Liara...there is a part...the beauty and her innocence that die in the process...

She really wants to make sure that you're not just like all the other nobles, because what would be the point in helping another arsehole gain power? 

It actually feel..and she say it during the prank cutscene..that she want to make sure..that even though ya are doing amazing stuff and have the burden of saving everyone...ya still just that..a person in the end . A person who just wanna fix thing..cose she can.....and cose nobody else can.......

 

a person who can rally everyone.....solve many thing but in the end..it just that...a person with whome ya can drink and share bad joke without having to bow and what not . 

 

Sera would Love Shepard y'know..cose even though Shepard was amazing , shepard always said..she was just a soldier . And everyone always kept saying how she did this and that..and she always say 'Anderson..I'm just a soldier'.....

As for your points...Fair enough on the second one. It's a willing sacrifice but i can see how it would look.  But on the first one, It tends to be kindness that drives the the sacrifice. Most people just aren't equipped to face the dark and to do nothing would cause suffering and deaths that needn't happen. The survivors would learn, but...To some the tradeoff is unacceptable.

It isnt just a job . Thats where ya are wrong..

 

She isnt a plumber fixing a toilet or a sink . She is messing with peoples life...faith and everything in between . Thats why the cost on one soul can be so high......

 

Some peoples will only see 'numbers' and 'static'.....so the burden doesnt bury them...but that too is a trap of its own . They just distance themself from their humanity..and everything become just number..the caring is ditched...for no pain to gain...Thats worse...

It's because Liara and Leliana are trying to be something they are not, doing things they don't even like.

 

Samara kept true to herself.

 

I'm not saying Leliana has to be saint or never kill, but she has to be true to herself. You can't ignore that and expect to be healthy (mentally or physically).

No..they are mean to be who they are ., It just that to get there...they had to walk the hardest road....that is all . 

 

change isnt something ya cant avoid..for better or worse.......I think as long as there is a Glimpse of leliana and liara in there..one could say..all of what happen was worth it...for as long as a glimpse is left...it is still them .

I like the tension. Two people have this inescapable conflict but try to love each other despite that, and maybe they succeed and maybe they don't.

 

I mentioned qunari getting easy approval, because I though that might be what was meant by best. There are other reasons I'm sure, and no doubt others think dwarf and human works better.
