Spirit damage only comes on staffs and possibly runes, I never really noticed before. The only spirit damage ability I know off is mind blast, and that's not exactly great for damage.
So when the tactic thingy say..weakness to spirit..thats ya staff ??
Aww geez....and I heard electricity was the strongest..but I keep finding fire based staff all over the place...

For mages, barrier, fade step, and either fire mine or energy barrage/static cage are pretty essential IMO.
And with leaping shot...maybe you have bad luck there, haha, because I only accidentally jump off cliffs with it if I am manually controlling an archer, they never do it themselves. Maybe just give Sera more Evade and Poisoned Weapons if its really bad?

Make your own. Nevarrite (hissing wastes) for cold damage, everite (emprise du lion) for electricity damage.

I just run face first into battle with a bunch of blades. Thank god I am playing on casual.
Me either as a dual daggers or double-headed axe, and a warrior with a doubleheaded axe, and an assassin. Then whatever mage fits the scenario best.

Alexia, for Cass, put more points in Vanguard, IMO. A balanced s&s/van build is the way to make a strong tank early on. Any abilities that build guard or up armor are the best.

Nope...they dont know how to flip back lol her and Varric...
She end up more often falling down and losing health . And Varric is worse...often he stand there shooting while a demon is killing him....
Thats why I'm forced to take solas as second for barrier.......so he can use it and I can shoot while everyone is getting killed ![]()

Dual-daggers almost seems op for rogues in this game. In my parties it's usually the quiz and Cass tanking with sword and shield so I want to give two-handed a look at some point. I just crafted a single-handed dps 306 axe last night for my Quiz that was taking down enemies in single swings. ![]()

But I want all the achievements, dangit! And I'm finding the harder battle is making replays more fun, because if I get bored of the same cutscenes, I have new battle strategies to try out, which makes everything seem fresher!

Go to Val Royeaux between lvl 4-8. I went to the Fallow Mire after that and then Forbidden Oasis. You got to leave the Hinterlands. Too much fillery quests there.

So far..I have seen...the oasis....storm coast...the place with zombie and that mayor...and............one where there are dalish.....hum..thats about it . I did mostly main quest and saw the ending....
I did promise myself I take it slow and do everything next time...but short attention span + bewbz ruined that...
And the fact..I have no idea...when to do them..at what lvl..and who to bring with me..would be nice....to know . cose just go tehre anr roam? argh.....

For some reason I just can't make myself play a sword and boarder even though I've heard how good they are.
I don't even bother to take Cass or Blackwall unless they have some sort of mission reason to be there.
I love my double-headed axe. Not only is it beautiful, it heals me on kills! I'm still early-ish in the game, so it's only 150 dps, but gives me like +15 strength.

Yeah...Thats what I do..go get Sera fast..then Vivi . then hinterland up to 8 . Then do haven....get skyhold....then thats where it become overwhelming and I end up like 'screw it...need bewbz..go get warden instead'..and before I knew it..I'm lvl 12 doing adamant...and rushing to the end
with no gear..and bad build....and outlvled weapon......
I did finish the game on my qunari at lvl 17 ![]()

My first PT was on casual/normal. I had a lot of fun with a DW rogue there. Just ran up and beat the crap out of everyone while looking hella badass.
But I want all the achievements, dangit! And I'm finding the harder battle is making replays more fun, because if I get bored of the same cutscenes, I have new battle strategies to try out, which makes everything seem fresher!
Bah, achievements are for losers ![]()
Teasing, but I don't pay any attention to achievements; I just play how I want.

It's kind of fun. Especially shield bash on those pride demons when they put their guard on and go "hurr hurr hurr" and I do the same cause I know once I hit them with bash that guard of theirs is going to shatter. "hurr hurr hurr" indeed!

Ah well you'll sight see the next time. I think there are some really pretty areas in the game like Emerald Graves and I quite liked the Crestwood quests a lot. You'll see it all. Plenty of time right?
