Sword and board doesn't seem as fun, lol. I like smashing the crap outta stuff or spells and letting Cass/BW do the essential tanking. 2H was hard at first because they're squishier, but damn I love those big as weapons.

It's all about the cool factor, you see.

I've always played two-handers in these games. In Skyrim I never sword and boarded it. When I started this game I gave it a thought and decided I wanted to play the classic 'knight' just once. It's been fun especially that shield bash.  :D

Ah well you'll sight see the next time. I think there are some really pretty areas in the game like Emerald Graves and I quite liked the Crestwood quests a lot. You'll see it all. Plenty of time right?

Emerald Graves is bloody engrained into my eyes/ It's too goddamn bright; I had to turn all my TV/computer settings waaay down.

Aww geez....and I heard electricity was the strongest..but I keep finding fire based staff all over the place...

Comes on the staff. In replace of electricity or cold. And it's rare.

Hehe, if I hated the harder difficulties, I'd say "eff it", but it's fun for me, so I'm going for the achievements.

I've only gotten all the achievements on one other game before...and it was a VN, so it sounds like a fun plan. Honestly I'm more intimidated by the shards and potions ones than anything else, haha. So much collecting! If I don't get those, I won't beat myself up.

But Cory is getting schooled on Nightmare, no doubt.

I love the Krem/Bull scene where he's teaching him to defend a shield bash!

It does look like fun. Maybe I'll make Aubrey a spoiled prince with a shield.

I'm so ignoring shards this round. I have no interest in the stupid hidden oasis.

DW rogues are so much fun to play, but not because of the high dps, at least not for me.

That ability that gives you the jump rope, skipping around the battlefield, gosh that is so awesome.

Getting flask of fire and spamming abilities are cool too.

I haven't seen that one yet! I did love the one where he's training with Cass and asks you to step in and punch him in gut.

He's super easy, it's unbelievable how fast the final fight went. It was actually disappointing for me.

The shards aren't so bad, except for when you actually get to the Oasis. I don't know why they thought it would be fun to collect 15 shards on that map.

That's what I started doing after pt1. pt2, 3 and 4 were severely more enjoyable.

Qunari fear training exercise. You get even better dialogue if you're romancing him. :P

It's because it's more like a chess match than a final battle.

You've manouvred him into a last desperate act, he's overly weak, and you get to cry "Checkmate!" and knock him over.

It took me a while to realize that the true final battle was the Temple of Mythal.

Was it? Well that wasn't much of a final battle either. I sided with the Elves at that point.

The way I think it should have ended was Skyhold gets attacked, perhaps you are on your balcony when the dragon comes and shoots a fireball through your tower. (Gives it a reason for being there) Depending on whether you have completed Companions quests, they either live or die. You repel the attack, and decide to retaliate. You go to Haven, where there is another attack. You choose your party whilst the rest of your team and the main bulk of your forces that have returned from Arbor Wilds stay to fight Corypheus' army. Then the final battle begins.

I get that that is sort of like ME2's ending but that was a good way to end the game.

I actually liked the way it played out. I like having my skyhold in tact!

Should have gone into some animal lust. Locked horns, muscles bulging, clothing being torn apart. Now that's what I'd like to have seen.

But where is the ecstasy! The whole, being ravished and caressed by his big, strong arms. Where was this?
