What does that mean? You have to go in to do the exam during your holiday break?
No. If I don't pass the exam until the 6th of February, I haven't passed it this semester.

Oh. Best get your head down then 'eh.

Thing is, the f-wit consciously allowed less people on the one actually good exam than there are in the course. And it's full already.
He consciously f-ed people over.
I need a Red Jenny here. Now.
Surely that makes it his mess to sort out not yours? He's not doing his job!
He fits the description of what Sera would call an arse.
So I don't think he gives one single F about the whole thing.

But Sera likes arses.
That should be irrelevant unless he's in charge of your university. He should be in trouble not students who don't have anything that they can do.He fits the description of what Sera would call an arse.

I think it depends on how you mean arse...
But, yeah, she does bring up staring at Quizzy's if you keep "chatting her up", right.

Well, the exam dates just came up today, and guess what, last day before holiday/exam period, also every place I could go is closed on Fridays. So, yeah. Sera would put one in his face.
He consciously F-ed people over AND did it so that nobody can do much about it.
I guess e-mails will have to do, but again, I can't expect an answer before January.

It doesn't really stop once you're on the romance track.
Arses are nice when they are in the correct place on someone's body. Less so when the whole person is one.But Sera likes arses.
Unwanted stress for you over the Christmas break but it's not your fault so you should be OK in the long term, I'd've thought.Well, the exam dates just came up today, and guess what, last day before holiday/exam period, also every place I could go is closed on Fridays. I never said it did...

Precisely.
I mean, Sera's... Ugh. I'll admit to walking into an ambush like that...
But that guy, that's the prime example of someone who deserves bad stuff.
Haha, took Sera with me on the Templar quest again, but this time I picked the "I just chose at random" option to explain my choices of banners and Sera was like "YOURE BRILLIANT"
Great as that is, I remember the serious explanations being somewhat lacking.

Funny how that works.
The other time I choose the "my reasons are my own" option and it worked for me too, but I get that for sure. In general I think Champions could have used more details/RP choices/reactivity to it...the whole sequence with the Envy demon doesn't feel as intimate or personal as it should, IMO.
True. As much as I liked the demon yelling at me in Lyna's voice (AWR did a great job yet again...) I think the weird-where-are-you-actually bit needed more... I dunno. I expected a similar thing with companions as in Hushed Whispers, where Sera's state legit gave me sads and wish for revenge.
Instead, the Demon only shows Josie, Cullen and Lels.

It could have been a lot better but I think the Envy sequence was probably their best go at a protagonist demon confrontation. Before it's always been some weird see through trick the protagonist can just call out at some point in their dialogue choices. Envy was up front, but the sequence felt like a conflict of wills, to me at least.
I still want the possession attempt based on Fight Club though.
And instead it goes for the old psychological torture.
Which I saw as "Oh, just get over with the bollocks, none of it is true."
I mean... I couldn't really get into it. With Hushed Whispers, I saw what happened to my girl, I heard her say how she ran out of arrows, and that filled me with genuine hate for Alexius. He had to die a second time.
I felt no such reaction in Champions of the Just.

I can understand that, but I greatly prefer Champions simply because I can't get over how
The best part of Champions is Cole.
Pretty much. Also I think the Venatori make much better primary mooks.
The best part of Champions is Cole. He's done so well, sympathetic and supportive and it totally makes sense for Quizzie to recruit him after it, unlike Hushed, where it's harder to justify with certain Quizzies
Edit: Alexius is a much better villain though. He's not actually a demon, for one, and he's both vile and completely human and sad.
I agree. Cole makes so much sense in Champions, it's not even nice (jk)
I actually tried to put him in my perma-party, but Nightmare turned out better if I do a two-tank, Mage, Sera.
I mean, I thought I'd be pretty meh about him and Dorian, but Cole is awesome (even though I think he used his forget power on me in my first pt every now and then, as I kept forgetting to visit him) and Dorian's a proper awesome guy, near BFF.
What's sad about Alexius is, he actually did most of it to help his son. He has a human side to it. He's just being a little selfish (a lot...) but maybe he would be a whole different man if his son hadn't...
