I thought that operation would change based on your conversations and who you supported in the dialogue wheel?

The operation is triggered by a conversation with Cassandra, but I do believe you have to tell her something along the lines of supporting her if given the chance.

 

The game has not given me an option to support Viv. So how does that get triggered? I can't support Lels as I did her quest last night and it did not go well. I tried every bit of conversation with Leliana to get another option including reloading an old save and the outcome was still pretty bad for Lels. Left me wondering how that outcome is triggered if you can't really dissuade her with conversation options your given?

I was under the operation that Leliana is the default choice, no? Meaning if you don't actively support anyone on your playthrough, she gets assigned as Divine at the end.

 

Regardless, I never got an explicit choice for Viv, either. I'm not sure how that one works; I think it's related to prior conversations with her (i.e. your dialogue responses).

Still not sure what the hell to do with Aubrey next playthrough regarding the divine and mages vs. templars.

So this just came up on my giant Spotify playlist of randomness. The line "asked if I'd care to dance" got me thinking: If the song from Halamshiral that she steals the music to were a pop song, what would it be?

I am going to back the Templars next time simply cause I did it the other way around first time. I really wish I knew what you have to do to change Lels actions. It certainly isn't dialogue in her quest because I played it as non-murderous as my Quiz could and she scoffed at my suggestions.

I did templars this time, but I think I may do mages next time just so I can conscript and leash them. No way do I want rogue mages running around Thedas with an insane darkspawn...

I know that, Kitten. I just thought it made more sense putting down Polyandry because that involves a woman taking more than one (husband) which could just represent spouse in the modern age.

Yes. However I conscripted the mages and kept Celene alive and alone on the throne. I guess that pushed the vote towards Vivienne. The gossip in Val Royaux is really reliable. After 'Here Lies the Abyss' and 'Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts', some people start to gossip about possible new divines. The rumor mill was spot on in both my runs so far.

I did the exact same things so I suspect Viv gets it when I finish up this weekend. It'll be interesting to test out.
