The hair selection truly is spectacular. Even if you want to go with short hair the options are limited, and mostly invoke ...aggressive male as well.

I really wish people would pay attention more to Sera's personality instead of the "outside", on how she acts and how she looks. 95% of the comments are about her looks and the way she talks. She's not Angelina Jolie and doesn't talk like high class/pompous way.

 

People need to pay attention to characters and how and WHY they act like this, i mean i try to understand Blackwall even though he's my least favorite (no hate ofc) and i still do.

 

As in terms of beauty, tastes differ of course. My beef with them is how they call her in a fooking rude way, to put it mildly. Most of these comments reminded me the way little stupid kids use to say to someone who isn't "typically attractive" in schools. IMO, Sera is the most attractive of them all... when i saw her at first i said "that's a unique look, if i ever seen one". And she has great, big, kissable lips jaysus, the things they can do dfghdfkad.... *AHEM* Sorry.

 

Maybe it's like Cat said, people need time to get her. Some get her instantly (like me) and others take a little more time.

At least Cass understood her instantly and got all mother hen on her and that says so much about that big softie of a dragon killer.

Say... most of us have played through Sera's romance now. What's your favorite scene?

 

Mine is really when the relationship starts and anything Sera puts in her 'cabinet of wonder whose it was' about it. When she says 'like you want to be more?' she seems unsure. It's cute.

 

Her convo when she says she noticed us chatting her up, we've been talking already, listening, wandering around for ages, watching your arse, I'd take you to bed right now.  That made me laugh alot when I heard it first. 

 

Her checking up on you on the balcony at the Winter Palace which I successfully did on my 2nd playthrough, it was sweet in her own way. 

 

Viv's response to your question about what to get Sera for as a gift, one of the highlights of romancing Sera for me defo, loved it. Just trying to think what she said again if you say will it work, she said of course it will the redundancy won't be lost on her or something and now if you don't mind I'd rather be anywhere but here right now, or something.

 

Post Fade convo, swinging for your head and her blurting out her feelings for you whilst shouting at you also, dat passion. Gotta say the various nicknames I acquired in my playthroughs also great, random. Had honey-tongue at one point till creepy ruined it. (I like Cole alot myself though, Sera pls *hugs Cole*)

 

Also liked in the love scene if you pick the 3rd option "I can get you anything, I'm the Inquisitor", her response to that is great, she doesn't give a fig about your wealth or high position, just wants you. D'aww. 

 

Party members also commenting on your romance was a nice touch too, Viv's bickering with Sera, her response to that aha her claws came out there, protective as hell and sweet in her own unique cray cray way.  Recently the Bull commented on em, lol power bedded its way towards me, aha great spin on it Sera.

 

 

Well, the SPEW train kinda derailed, so everyone is jumping on different ones. I ship Sera/Trevelyan.

 

Really liked the human noble/Sera ship, enjoyed it alot. 

My canon play through will always be my elf with Sera, as difficult as it was for me to get it to work when I finally got the love talk, I was just overjoyed. Definitely my favorite scene.

Not to mention that I did have a drawing made of her with Sera.

 

As much as I enjoyed the human run, which I did alot there is still a part of me which weirdly prefers my original run, as chaotic and argument fueled as it was at times. Maybe I like the drama deep down, or I just love being an elf too much. I suppose I just liked seeing Sera's passion in that run perhaps, made for better make-up potential between the two of em.

I hate how she talks to Cole. Like stop telling my darling Cole to shut up and be nice!

 

I loved Cole, just felt so protective of him throughout, but Sera gets better with him, she eventually gets so annoyed at one point with him talking at her she pleads for someone to shut him up.

Cole: You called me him, thank you so much. Sera :Frustrated groan.

Blackwall/Vivienne is fun.

 

Yeah catty back and forth galore. Had that party running alot in my 2nd run, so much bickering.

More the expectation that all girl romances aren't necessarily targeted at girls. I've seen a few of BioWare's previous romances referred to as teenage boy fantasies, for various reasons by various people. So far I only remember positive mentions of Sera's romance scenes so I'm curious as to whether that's the common perception.

As for my next playthrough, hmm I'm thinking of making an elf who will perhaps be more questioning of her beliefs this time round and was thinking of romancing Josie. Buuuuuuuuut companion romances have more of an attraction for me so I'm kinda fearful I'll end up in Sera's bunk again. For those who romanced Josie, did you enjoy it, was it worth it? I also want to re-unite Briala and Celene in this run, the last two I kept em apart.

I have something of a deeply repressed fear of spiders.

 

It's a good heroic fear though, like Indy's fear of snakes. Something mundane and understandable but likely to turn up while adventuring.
