Uh, let me think...

Nope?

I would prefer a regular combat knife, such as the KA-BAR, anyway.

Not that I have anything but kitchen knives. Some of them are quite good at their jobs though. Sharp, pleasure to hold... Balanced...

See, I like anything that can come across as intimidating. Flipping a butterfly knife around my hand makes me look a lot more dangerous than I already am.

Yeah, it's kind of slow like DAO, but more active. Try it again sometime, if you get bored of SnS. Get Combat Roll and block and slash especially.. then you'll see how it's different than DAO.

I didnt like DAO....I certainly not going to suffer here by going 2h sword..no way !!

But...I can convince someone else to go suffer in my place

lol.. I understand. I'm just saying.. It's not the same with those abilities I mentioned. You'll move around the battlefield more. It'll start feeling more action heavy. And it gets better from there.

SnS is great too though. I just love Cass in my team so much it's kind of redundant. And the AI handles SnS better, I think. 2h is best in the player's hands.

Yeah but it is slow like Hell....

And beside......I dont get the same ....err....View....See...Imagine my Qun Qun without armor....hitting with her smexy shoulder.......

Then imagine wielding a 2h sword......

right?

So the 1st , give ya a view thats droole worthy.....

and the 2nd...remind me of me...having my period..super cranky...hammer time . While this view is fun...it is not droole worthy....

It's all for naught if my KA-BAR is in your stomach by the time you're done flipping the butterfly, though.

In a combat scenario, counting on scaring the enemy isn't the safe bet. Counting on killing the enemy before they have a chance to react is the safe bet.

If you're thinking weapons, don't think fancy. Think useful. Every last bit has to allow for easy, safe, and quick usage. Anything that denies rapid target acquisition, makes the weapon unrealiable, or makes it unnecessarily hard to use has to go.

In an actual combat scenario, yes. You would win with that... thing. The butterfly knife was actually used as an art form over combat. That and the unknowing kill.

Only to the uninitiated, poodle :P Butterfly knives are so impractical and silly they could come from Orlais!

And to kitten about 2handers in this game: It's actually fun. I started my elf as a sword'n'board but grew bored and switched to two-handers. Now my lady emerald knight is the embodiment of the reaper, tackling whole groups of people and whirlwinding them all to death with her sword :P

The KA-BAR is no worse off for stealth. A fitting alternative would be the Fairbanks-Sykes knife, used by the British Commandos.

With the advantage of a much quicker draw, thus I can get closer to the target without drawing the blade and risking alerting everyone.

It is slooooooooooooooooooow...and they seem to have just one cool ability...whilwind..and I'm not fond of it..

Honesty...my main class is and always will be Mage...It's perfect for meh . Y'know..stationary..long range...spazz spazz..I mean...mass attack XD

Hey..is there a thread somewhere about bug and fix ?? Maybe I can find a reason behind my crashing and my blue screen...

Guns, warbirds, knives. This thread.

Lavellan's daggers Fury and Rive have a 10% chance to inflict hidden blades each. For some reason this extends to hits inflicted by tearing rifts. So many combos.

Finally got the Duel scene in the Josie romance arc. I have to say, hers Is the most romantic romance in the history if bioware games   I swear, I'm melting from lovey-dovey overdose    But the only companion who has commented on it was Dorian. Sads. Lels says nothing and Sera stays quiet too, which suprises me the most. Bleah. This is what you get when you have different teams writing different parts and not talking to eachother enough >.<

No I... wait... negatives... No I don't not like long hair?

I was just trying to remember if there was ever discussion of long hair. Unless you count the Dormer flip thing.
