I don't understand what you mean. The coat changes colour based on the material you choose to craft it from... I have had several different coloured coats.

But it is always the same coat....

 

Coloring isnt enough...I like a new design...

 

Like..hum...in hinterland..I found a carta armor for Varric...well....once he outlvl that armor...it goes to the trash....would have been nice if it unlock in your crafting table..so ya can make a new one higher..or get schematic to make it..and change the color from crappy light blue..to red..cose varric look good in red...

I wish..when get new armor..we could unlock the skin and craft them...or something . Instead....I brough many schematic from Val royaux..and they were the same BROWN coAT!!! ARGHHH!

If you craft your armor the color of the coat changes based on the material you use. Dragonling scales make a red coat, nug skin is pink, fennec fur is gray, etc. Dragon leather is white.

I just beat a lvl19 enemy supported by 3 lvl16 guys, being at lvl14 myself.

Tempest really is the best spec. I kinda regret picking assassin this time around. The abilities aren't that great.

Nope. Haven't unlocked Thousand Cuts for her yet, even though I'm still carrying an enhancing ring for good ten levels now.

 

Just... Stealth, Full Draw, Flask of Fire, Long Shot (2x Long Shot ring) - not always in that order...

And I pretty much wore those buggers down.

There are several different schematics available for each class of armour at each tier. You can't get a template for every armour (yet) but what you're saying isn't 100% fair, either.

Pfffff unless ya can prove with pictures..cose schematic doesnt tell what an armor look like..y'know. In Val Royaux it say schematic X for 3000 something but it doesnt tell me how it look . 

 

Would have been hard to make a preview so I know..what I'm wasting my gold on..? especially that early..when I'm always broke

has anyone tried a dual wield tempest? I'm considering it because I'm not sold on Assassin yet. Cole died way too much in previous playthroughs so it has me wary.

really hate when you're cruising along in game and suddenly you get an overwhelming Rift. HATE that. I have no idea why they did that other than to force you into doing other ish to "level up". Annoying. I'm level 13 in the Emerald Graves. I despise the Emerald Graves. Pretty but stupidly perilous.

whats high tier thingy? all I'm saying..is at the beginning.....if ya wast money in val royaux..that guy up the stair in a tiny room (where ya will meet Josephine for her personal quest)......if ya buy those schematic for 3000 gold something..all it did..is give me the SAMe LOOK . The Same LOOK! 

 

Some had more iron look but the brown coat was still there . On my previous Qunari..I brough all schematic from that shop and the one from that dwarf in red cliff...and I only had like 3 look..many different stats sure..but 3 different look . the coat was always there...same coat..crappy long coat..short coat.......still a coat .

I don't care for Assassin much myself. Tempest is more fun. As for dual wield, I suggest having the first stealth ability to escape tricky situations if need be. It's a life saver.

and if I buy more schematic ?? It is still the COAT..with higher stats..but it is still the coat...

 

Maybe there are more schematic where the coat doesnt exist ?? 

 

I asked shinie..he showed me his warrior wearing a red armor..but he said it was a drop.....

It's worth noting that you can get different arms and legs and they do change the appearance of the armour too.

I just got that by killing a load of giants in The Emerald Graves. They drop so much loot... I was down to a few hundred after buying the last load of schematics.

Giants are a pretty good source of money. XP too. Have to be careful around them though.

Arianne was a DW Tempest. Worked out rather handsomely.

 

You can just spam Deathblow with Flask of Fire, and if you get Guard-builder Fade-Touched thingy, you can build up like half the guard during a Flask of Lightning.

Flask of Frost is handy in melee more than ranged, too, I'd say, because it's essentially a damage reduction, freeze on attack, potentially taunt thing.

I'm more into universe-good names. I guess that's why I've built Armor of the Dragon, Armor of the Fortress, and eventually Mythal's Blessing... (the first two are Flames of the Inquisition armors - Dragon has loads of armor rating, Fortress is guard-builder for Rogues - the third is Dalish Scout Armor, with metric F-ton of armor, and generally looking a lot like Merrill's non-romance outfit)

 

Not to mention daggers named Tool of the Game, The Bard's Letter Opener...

And bows Recurve of the Woods, Bow of the Red Jenny (seriously - Sera's bow in my Normal PT), and eventually perhaps The Bardmaster's Recurve...

 

Also, Cass may have had Seeker's Mace along with Seeker's Coat, and Blackwall may be wearing Warden's Mail in my NM PT.
