It's always sad when you have to get rid of something fun you've crafted. My Lavellan for a long time had some armor called Shem Guard and a staff called Shem Repellant, and then I found some premade armor that was way better...it was a sad time. Then I recreated them later with better materials. She was really elfy-elf, she needed that. 

 

 

..then she ended up romancing Cullen, so I had to take it off...turns out that there was one shem she didn't want to keep away from her.

Welp it kinda balances out now, you have a strong dislike of Dalish, I love them and I have a strong meh meh meh meh about Hawke and you love her so we're sorta even. Kinda, maybe, not really.

 

And 3rd playthrough, must decide my archer spec, soooooo Tempest is the way to go right? Also I gave Sera daggers in this run *I'm a terrible person xD* but I can't have two archers, even gave daggers to Varric. Which work on him so much better.

The Inquisitor unwittingly gets the best gift for her. Rather fitting for someone romancing Sera, who is not a planner. A spontaneous, public display of love is what she wanted most, and that's what she got. Excuse me, I got something in my eye.

 

Here's my take on it:

What Sera wanted more than anything else was to know that someone felt that she truly mattered, and was willing to admit it. Don't forget how her tombstone in Fear's realm said "The Nothing" - having someone willing to tell others that she's something to them is something she never thought would happen. Especially if, as I suspect is the case from how she responds when you tell her that you let everybody know that you and she are an item, she's been somebody's dirty little secret before. 

 

So for Sera the best possible gift is someone who loves her back, and isn't ashamed to tell anybody about it.
