Got some? With her playing a major role, that is?

Oh, and also I don't exactly trust Mr. Gaider. He's just going to break everyone's heart.

rambling rant time

i don't get how anyone can hate a character before we play them.  cassandra, while not my cup of tea (the irony being i don't drink tea) is that she, to me has a very 1980s non big hair look to her.  she reminds me of women m babysitters (yes i had a few male sitters) would have been into.  she is still beautiful (for a computer program) though, so i don't get the hate.

vivian and scribbles and sera as well.

they are video game characters, if you are attracted to them outside of your characters head, you may need help with reality.

but to each their own.

i've stated before in the asexual thread that i am for the most part asexual, however when i do find some one attractive it isn't because of pictures of them, it has to involve watching them think, how they respond and yes pheromones.

when i was straight, i used to get confused as to how (a lot) my other male friends could find their girl friends attractive, some were quite manly, others were almost as heavy as i am.  but then i remembered that it takes all finds, that we all look for something unique in our potential mates and friends that attracts us.

for some friends it was the way the woman walked, or her views on life or even how she handled her car.  people are unique, beautiful and there is everything out there.

instead of hating the characters because they are too this, or that...wait to meet them first to find their flaws and what makes them amazing.

done rambling

She's not on my hatelist though. So I don't say anything negative about Cass anyways. I still like her. It's just sort of... not my first choice. Not the lens I wanted to view the game from (if that makes sense.)

Sera was certainly the one that I had high hopes for but liked cass too since da2(chantry ness is my worry with her)
Viv seems to have all the things I least liked about morrigan.
Think some people got used to the archetype(aerie, tali, merrill, leilana(un hardened) which has never been my thing.
Still sera is the closest to that good natured type.

Cassandra's masculine qualities are cool. That isn't my problem at least.

I still wish I could've romanced Aveline.

It's not just him.  The other writers contribute to the heartbreak just as much :)

I don't think they can do it, even when they try. Isabela had a dagger called Heartbreaker, in fact... but Sheryl Chee makes that part of Isabela's story enjoyable somehow. Gaider seems to want to just break things.

You're one of the better ones about it. Most I seen dismiss Cass with a comment about dressing like a man or having a jawline stronger than their neckbeard (I assume neckbeards are involved).

Jawlines strong enough and sharp enough to cut glass are always a positive in my book. Neckbeards always ruining everything good...

Yeah, there doesn't seem to the token naive "Oh GOSH, you're paying attention to me types" this time.

Probably because someone like that wouldn't be chosen to be a leader.

I said somewhere earlier in this thread (or maybe it was the Cass one) that Cassandra actually reminds me of my mom. I'm used to strong women like this.

And that's all I'm going to say I'm about it. I don't even want to elaborate. :D

First thing I do in CC is widen the jawline of my female PC as much as I can. Funnily enough it always works. With men in CC... not so much.

I'm glad I trimmed everything sub-jawline earlier.

I wouldn't say they're dog food. Not at all. It's just about what i keep saying... the appeal lies in the Archetypes behind a character. I hate to sound lame and pretentious here, but certain archetypes appeal from instinct. Some men like Artemis. Some like Aphrodite.

You mean some men want to be turned into a deer and savagely killed by their own pack of hunting dogs just for accidentally coming across a woman bathing in the middle of the forest?

Weird.

Dude, same here. Did the same with Skyrim too. What's with these character creators and their wimpy female jawlines? lol

Kind of. Yeah.

It's just an archetype. Cass herself is an Artemis in her own way. Not precisely. More like Xena and Wonder Woman.

Hmm I can see how that might be an awkward Oedipus moment.

I find it hard to argue with having female characters look like this.

Sera seems more like an Artemis to me. Mostly because of the bow, her feisty character and the big "no men allowed" sign xD

Really like the look of this actress Antje Traue (played in the last Superman movie). Probably would've been a great model for Femshep too. Also Lucy Lawless is hot.
