Sera does change, she stays with the Inquisition.

 

Someone who defies and despises all authority, someone who is always skeptical of acting for the greater good, decides that this organistaion is worth  sticking with.

Ooh. Very good point. She also learns to get along with several characters who are 'high born'. Cassandra and Dorian come to mind.

Happy to report that with the guard on hit armor I made for him, Cole works really well on Nightmare. Using a team of him, Sera, and Cass, and I'm doing all the Fairbanks stuff in the Emerald Graves and having no problem with it. I think if I tried to use him on a really hard battle, I'd have to babysit, but for these kidns of quests (which have bosses, but they aren't uber challenging), he's fine on his own and doesn't chug potions or anything.

I'm running four rogues right now and by the time I'm in range of my target, either him, Sera or Varric have stolen my kill.

Stopping in to say I'm working on a SeraxInquisitor (Lavellan...what I'm bias -also its my inquisitor) piece (should be done before i sleep.. hopefully) I may post it if i'm happy with it

Yeah, I like elves too ... pleasantly pleased that I could say "Inquisitioning is srs bidness!" to the prank quest and not otherwise disrupt our relationship.

Hardly even noticed in game though maybe that's a dialogue variance ... too used to talking people down.

He's great. 

 

I trap them with Pull of the Abyss, weaken/knock them down the Veil Strike/Stone Fist, and when/if they get back up Cass gets their attention and takes the damage, while Sera and Cole stab/shoot the crap out of them. I don't have the greatest weapons for him yet, but even so, he's definitely the powerhouse in terms of damage of the team. 

 

Right now I have him specced with the Assassin tree and the Subterfuge tree, seems to be a perfect blend.

Oh, I didn't know that was something you could do. Mine was completely up for it, she's young and likes to have fun too - also these guys keep thinking her as some otherworldly being and just like nah, gotta knock that out of their heads.

I'm running a minimal dw (just flank attack and twin fangs) / subterfuge left to SS / sabotage right to throwing knives/ arty to opportunity; loads of fun.

I think I got my first Sera disapproval this game, haha, for agreeing to do what that Command spirit asks you to do in Crestwood. It's like my favorite minor sidequest, it's so surreal and delightful. Sorry Sera.

Seems like this game, you don't need every bit of approval.

I like it.

Also, I really like flirt options that don't necessarily mean "wanna sex u" options; shows some maturity on BWs part. (e.g. late game flirt options with Cass)

Granted, there are still a few "key flirts" (e.g. Solas dream sequence).
