Since I'm bored (and drunk again. The bottle is empty now. It's the last time!), here's a color guide for the various cloths!

Cotton: dirty white

Dales loden wool: lilac

Darkened samite: black

Dragon webbing: orange

Everknit wool: forest green

Highever weave: red

Infused vyrantium samite: white

King's willow weave: bright yellow

Lambswool: dark grey

Lustrous cotton: burgundy

Plaidweave: yellow plaid

Plush fustian velvet: greyish green

Ring velvet: blue-green

Roayle sea silk: silver-grey

Samite: greyish purple

Silk: off white

Silk brocade: blue plaid (why isn't this tier 3? It's gorgeous!)

Velveteen: light brown

I really wish there was a way to simply recolor individual armor pieces (like in ME2/3) without having to associate them to materials (and therefore abilities). As it stands, you're basically choosing between stylish or beneficial, which are often mutually exclusive.

I know, that sucks. I also with we could disable helmets individually on our companions. I'd like to keep the good headmasks/Vitaar showing and disable the others. Instead I must keep them all disable. Much sad.

Yep. Dragon stuff is powerful, but orange? Not my color. It's a pity there is no tier 3 deep blue or red material. It's all tier 2. Good thing black and silver are tier 3. Such awesome colors. :D (no, still not over how awesome silverite is.)

Eels are just straight up nightmare fuel. They even have that comical happy expression to make them doubly unnerving.

We could go back to Brit comedy if it would help.

Actually, Master Warder Z is right about ancient Egypt "slavery". A lot of workers were not slaves at all but shhh, don't question what the bible says. Its historically accurate. This is not to say there weren't indentured servants and out right slaves but stuff like the "pyramids were all built by slave labor" is probably not true. Some slave labor, sure, not all. Or even close to all. Ancient Egypt had free workers, craftsman, and servants. Technically there isn't even record in Egypt that any Jews were kept as slaves which is odd because Egypt kept extensive records of its conquests and spoils of war (such as when they conquered a people and took slaves). In fact, record keeping its the whole reason they developed their writing system in the first place.

I don't want "historical biblical" movies either for I think whats obvious reasons now. lol

Helmet should also appear in cutscenes when equipped.

The trailers totally lied about that one.

No cutscenes. Go near the character's hang out spot. Sometimes there will be another npc (messenger) and you can hear the dialogue. Follow the messenger to their next destination to hear the rest of the convo.

The one time I tried that, the messenger walked through a wall. Bloody Bgtzlian messengers...

They tend to walk into the wall and stop there for me. I think they are a little dazed from all the crazy requests from their superiors.

Yup.

Enough historical accounts have surfaced from the period to offer what actually happened.

Not really. There are holes in classical historical accounts that you could drive a series of plagues and a massive flood through, and classical accounts offer infinitely more dense coverage than Egyptian history of a thousand years prior does.

The problem with the Exodus story is not that it is contradicted by other evidence. We don't have enough evidence to contradict anything. In fact, the lack of evidence is precisely the problem: not only do we not have enough evidence to contradict anything, we don't even have enough evidence to explain anything or corroborate it. We can't correlate the Exodus story to an equivalent time period in recorded Egyptian history, something that ought to be fairly basic but is impossible given the patchiness of the Exodus account.

I don't think that most decent scholars of the period would say that the Exodus account is wrong. They would instead probably say that it is irrelevant. It is deeply anachronistic, it is written in highly improbable terms (half a million people migrating anywhere in that time period is basically impossible, let alone doing it on their own through a desert), and it's impossible to link the Exodus story into the general political narrative of Egypt. There is no point in trying to write Exodus into or out of history, much like how good scholars of Greek history don't bother trying to prove or disprove the Trojan War.

It's an RNG schematic and drops in Tier 2 chests. A lot of people have been farming T2 chests in the southeastern Hinterlands, but a more reliable approach is to do it in the Still Ruins and Coracavus, the Western Approach dungeons.

So it's a fully random drop... Great. And I think all of southeastern Hinterlands chests are looted in my playthrough.

You could always roll Dalish Scout Armour with Snowfleur Skin since that's T3.

Unless you really want that specific schematic, I'd wait until you get to the Hissing Wastes and then buy armor schematics from there. That dog merchant appears to have by and large the finest armor pieces/schematic in this game.
