Also, just did Adamant and the Fade at level 20, while the recommended level is 12-15. This game is kinda hilarious when you're completely overlevelled for the content.

I did similar things on my first playthrough. For example, I went to the Forbidden Oasis for the first time at lvl 22 to turn in the shards I had collected. I think it was more of a challenge putting the disc into my Xbox One.

Well, this has been discussed so many times on this site. I can't say which mechanic is better, but I do know that both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

 

It's also worth noting that while level scaling isn't present in DA:I, some form of it is employed. Enemies in certain areas have a level 'range' within which their level will be scaled relative to yours. But of course, that doesn't stop you from leveling up beyond said range, leaving them lagging way below you.

you may mean well but...this a big no. you erase a part of a person's/character's identity when you say/type this. it's like when people say "I don't see color". Naw...that might sound pc or whatever but it isn't. can't not see my blackness and then see me. that makes no sense actually. doesn't mean it has to dominate your view of the person but you can't say you don't see it.
