Avatar was just a big mix of ideas from other films executed poorly. The helicopters were cool though.

I wonder if either of them BSN...

Speculation, go.

See, I realized. That's why I'm here in the first place... But CREEPY aliens who eat your face with TWO mouths at the price of one? Woah.

To be fair, the second mouth is mostly just used to penetrate you. Okay, not helping.

Avatar was pure aesthetic. It looked awesome on a huge Full HD TV and stuff but that's about it.

And most of those films were by James Cameron himself. I still quite enjoyed it although I thought that it could've used some serious editing...

Well he made Aliens, I'm not sure he could claim to have established that film's aesthetic though.

I liked the opening, with the ship. After Interstellar kept the ball going I'm hoping hard sci-fi becomes more a thing.

Tell them Tamriel sounds like Tauriel and that was just a huge mistake.

I thought Interstellar was quite good but a bit weak by Nolan's standards. Michael Caine was seriously miscast, Anne Hathaway's "faith" bit was so completely out of character that my brother actually laughed, and the "twist" was blatantly telegraphed... There was plenty that I enjoyed about it, mind. There was some great acting, some good ideas, the visuals were great (and scientifically accurate as far as I understand) and I enjoyed the scenario in general. I just don't think that it was as deep as it thought it was...

People like that can't be reasoned with.

I admire it as a piece of film making but couldn't engage with or respect the plot on any level. But I thought the whole aesthetic and depiction of space travel in that film was just really cool. Also, the whole docking sequence thing was amazing.

The Nords believe they live inside the eye of a blue eyed giant named Macumba.

I mixing in some Game of Thrones because they're basically the same thing - only without as many monsters.

I'll answer for him. The universe of TES is indeed a dream of a sleeping god.
