No problem, and thank you. I don't want to see people get warning points over a small thing like that.
Is there a limit to how many we can get before "PERMA-BAN!" comes into effect?

Has anyone tried every single armor combination on Sera? I'm doing some crafting and I wonder what kind of armor would look best on her. Anyone has any suggestions? BTW I'm rolling her as a DW rogue with some nice blades, so any armor that has shooting gloves looks a bit weird ![]()

There's one armour, I don't know what it's called but it gives her some cool looking armour going all the way up her left side. Looks sweet but unfortunately, I never really got a chance to use it - completed the game when I got it.
ok... I think I just found the hate thread everyone is talking about... I clicked it expecting a debate, or some analyzing, or talking about ways of improvement (for those left heartbroken or something, yeah?) or something of the like... the title seemed to be an open to discussion not... you don't start a topic like that and.. it wasn't even a topic it was just... a rant... there's nothing to be discussed it's just... yeah just a hate thread. What a let-down.
I mean I wish there were a way to compromise on the break-up situation for an elf, because Sera should understand... like you dont have to be preachy to her or try to convert her, but like when Cass is teasing her about her fear of magic its "excuse me for being afraid of something i was told to fear my whole life" but she can't just look at the inquisitor and see the "excuse me for believing something I was raised to believe my whole life"... but It's just Sera's in the moment, she's not thinking about the other shoe, she's thinking about her own health without realizing she's damaging the other person's... (or potentially damaging, depending on how you play your inquisitor) she probably realizes it after the break up... like right after, but there's not going back... no potential make-up scene - would've been nice (sort of like That "Buckles" Fic someone posted here forever ago I re-read that fic so many times...so...many...times) But yeah... that thread did not go in the direction i was hoping for at all.
Don't worry about the thread, sweetie. You make a very good point in that bolded part. Sera is not able to place herself in other people's shoes. It would be interesting to see how she would react if we could call her out on it. She hates to be dismissed while being dismissive herself. She hates labels while using them extensively herself (she gets better on that front as she gets to know people, but...).
I'm still reeling from the 'bag of chicken necks' comment she makes to an Elf Inquisitor... That is so incredibly insensitive.

I don't know. Sorry. You'd have to check the rules or ask a mod. (scary thought, that last one...)

Light and heavy armor look like a macro sweater with tights. Medium armor has several variations, but my favorite is the tier 3 prowler armor.

Color changes based on materials used. I have no idea what that helmet is.

You mean it has a metal breast-plate on the left side? I don't really like that one ![]()
Yeah, it occurs to me that most of the problems I have with characters are not being able to have the dialogue options I want for the player, not that the character is bad. Like if you could challenge Sera more there as an elf, or if you didn't have to just accept Solas saying he knows more about dwarves than you do, or if you could offer more comfort to Viv, or if you had more romance specific (and Cadash ones, specificallly) dialogues available Blackwall's post Revelation etc etc.
I like having flawed characters, I just want more range to react to them.

Welcome to every elf (or mage/templar) thread on BSN ever. Only this time it's about a specific elf instead of the entire species. BSN is toxic, but there are a few good people and threads (like this one) that keep me around. You're not wrong in any of the points you made, but the frothing-at-the-mouth people will never talk about them.
....Sorry. Just talked to Mother Zealot Preachy Stupidhat in the game and it always leaves me raw. Why can't we get an instakick option for her? Instead of having it for a Sera, a character that is actually likeable, if troubled?

The Superior Prowler Mail does have the archer's gloves, but it's also absolutely covered in knives. I picked it up in Emprise du Leon in the tower near where the mages for Cassandra's personal quest are, but I suspect that it may have been random...

No one likes to be called stupid.
if my friends screamed at me and called me stupid, I'd be upset. If it was a friend who I knew had emotional regulation/self centered ness issues and had just been pushed to their discomfort point though, and still found their friendship valuable enough to tolerate that for (which I do have friends like that...nobody's perfect, if you can accept the flaws in people, you still have the good), then I might need to calm down before I realized why they are acting that way, but I could understand it.
I would be friends with Sera. She's infuriating sometimes, and so very young, but she's loyal and charming and all her frustrating aspects come from being all muddled up and turned around, and I can relate to that.
I personally have no issues with people calling me stupid, especially close as long as i know it's not serious and it's all play.
In my family we all call each other stupid, pure out of love. ![]()
And i remember this vid of quizzy calling the whole roof scene stupid and Sera acknowledges it, gets all fussy on quizzy not wanting to hear her story then tells her she even made stupid cookies for her. Then the quizzy appreciated it and still called it stupid and guess what was Sera's reaction? She approved and smiled. (can't find the vid tho, FUUUUUUUUUUU)
Hence why i never take the whole "stupid this, stupid that" as an actual insult from Sera.

I used that one in my previous playthrough but I don't really like or hate it. It's just average IMO. I want something with long sleeves like this:

But this here is T1 "armor" class which means I can't add boots or modify gloves. I probably wouldn't mind if I could get T2 version of it, but have no clue if such even exists.

I'm afraid it doesn't. From what I've seen, armors were designed so the higher tiers visually add protection. I would guess for 'added realism'.

Yeah... I didn't like that comment myself... I mean... wow Sera, ok that wasn't offensive or possibly hurtful, thanks for that.
And I wish we could call her out on it... like... it's everything we were raised on... but she sh*ts on your religion and culture all in one go to hang on to hers... I understand Sera's perspective but.. yeah just wow...

That's pretty sweet actually. But ye its random. I have never found this armor schematic on my 1st playthrough and I cleared every single area 100%.

Can't you buy it from the Dog? In the Hissing Wastes.

There's a trick to make the chests respawn. Leave at least one item in them and return later. The contents will be refreshed.

Bu- but that's cheating!

That is some sweet armour.
Me and my mere Sturdy Prowler Armour are feeling inadequate as a result.
It totally rocks. It's currently the only superior schematic I have at tier three so she has more armour than my warriors (discounting shields obviously.)

The one in the pic is "Superior". Dog sells normal one.

Yeah... I lurked in a good number of those... eventually I stopped going through the trouble... (Also lurked in romance/romance trope/representation threads... those seem to be positive for a while -with help from Alan-, then i was unable to catch up anymore and next thing I know they're closed down...)

Oh. Did you kill every dragon? I have a feeling I got mine from the second Dragon (In order of which you would encounter them) in Emprise.

I'm a rogue. I'm supposed to cheat. ![]()

Wiki says that's the Superior Prowler Armour (If you have the Short List perk which I don't currently). This is the Superior Prowler Mail. Apparently there's also the Superior Prowler Coat.
