I know right.
Reaver isn't about tanking damage.
Reaver is about there not being any damage to tank out, because the Reaver already killed everything in sight!
Have you used Katari?

I unlocked him a week ago, didn't like him SO much.
Reaver is a pure badass.

I don't really like her elite armour though. I don't know what Inquisition armour looks like on her but on the other characters, it's pretty bland.
Playing an archer on Nightmare, and I can't help but notice how pathetic the tactical cam range is

You can target them from a further distance than what the camera allows. It's quite... pathetic.

It really doesn't seem to help much though. Not with the brutal terrain in the Coast.

I don't think I even use it anymore. It's a nice design but to me, it's just not worth the effort.
First time siding with the qunari and I know I probably should feel bad about sacrificing the Chargers but after doing a few ben missions on the wartable (and not fraking em up thankfully) I should have sided with them in my other playthroughs. I'm gaining alot of handy influence even though I don't fully trust the qunari but it is only a temporary alliance afterall. Bull seemed happier when I sided with his men but eh looking at the bigger picture siding with the qunari is the more logical option. Should have been more pragmatic about this dilemma in hindsight. Only downside is Bull doesn't evolve as a person when you do this but eh one person's happiness over the good of Thedas sooooo yeah.

Sanity is for the weak!
I don't think I'll ever choose the Qunari over The Chargers. I'd rather have a small band off friends than an army off strangers.

I'd rather have reliable squad of special ops, than an unreliable fleet, depending on the whim of an Arishok.
The fact it's actually AriSten in both of my playthroughs ignored.

It would be nice to be able to look through the various threads without the inevitable Sera's stupid comments, it's really getting old and grates on me.
Yeah, I feel the same. Her qualities have been torn apart enough. Anyone talking **** now is just following like sheep.

Glamorous BioWare logic aside, they're just a bunch irregulars. They're probably on the same standard as any other Inquisition scout squad.
You killed Krem to make friends with monsters.
AriSten?
Sten from Origins turns into Arishok if certain requirements are met. So, AriSten. It's not an official name.

I once read a book where a US Navy SEAL said that they were no different from the Marines they were fighting with side by side, just differently trained.
Ignore the basra, Chuck Norris greatly approves.
Zaeed Massani's reaction:
"Son, how can you approve such big god'amn heroes dieing?"

Oh. Didn't that happen in one of the comics, but in the Keep, he'd need his sword returned otherwise he'd be executed on sight.

Good point. Maybe he's not the AriSten in my first playthrough then. I didn't get the quest until the night of preparation in Redcliffe.
And no, it was the night before Denerim.
Anyway, I found some Halla dung in the Exalted Plains, and got a "Sad Weapon" schematic... ![]()

I'm not sure how much use a soldier's self analysis compressed into a single quote is but The Chargers still aren't commandos. Their crowning moment is not being able to hold the line against a scattered force of Tevinters washing up on a beach.

Zaeed has a pretty long history of being the only survivour of his squad.

I have no idea what you are on about. Night before Denerim, Preperation in Redcliffe... Say what?

Only in death does duty end.
Zaeed's duty has not been fulfilled.
