that slur just makes me laugh... but at the same time annoyed. I get knife ear but rabbit now its just bad writing
It's a racial slur, used often towards the elves in TME, it's not as aggressive as being called a knife ear but still no less demeaning/insulting which is the whole point.
Annnnnnnnnd hooray I got it right I re-united Celene and Briala, court approval 93 not bad for a rabbit. ![]()

I believe my first post was this two worder back on page 366.
I am totally claiming to have started that title now.

It's kind of fun clicking on the links of first posts and reading the posts on that page with what we know now.
On 366 there's speculation that Sera might be racegated against elves.
I also like the confusing legacy of changed usernames, avatars and signatures.

Lulz, I can't remember what my first post here was.
Next playthru I'm uber tempted to go necromancer Dalish, the ultimate spooky lover as far as Sera is concerned. She'll grow to love my chicken neck in time. ![]()

Bag of chicken necks. The analogy needs that messy loose movement. I love you too Sera.
Also my search-fu says this.
My Dalish mage is at the point of selecting a specialization but I'm leaning towards rift mage. Solas is getting my inquisitor in trouble with Sera, got three slight disapprovals in one conversation with the spirit in Crestwood.
Aha her responses to that spirit are lulzy. I really enjoyed the KE in my human mage run and for lore reasons I like the idea of being one again as a Dalish buuuuut for varieties sake and it looks fun I'll probably go with necromancer, possibly fire mage as I spec'd in ice in my last run or maybe I'll go with lightning shrugs.
Ah gah Blackwall is re-telling the dog story to me now, such a downer jeez :/
Things I learned playing DA: I
1) Until you get a way to consistently crit (after spec basically), full draw is not worth taking. After you do, full draw one shots a lot of enemies.
2) Sera looks better in game than she does in screen shots.
3) Static Cage upgrades is by far the best mage spell in the game during the early levels. No ones weak to it and the first bruisers that appear they are weak to lighting.
4) As I thought, once again the best party is 1 tank + 2 rogue archers + 1 mage. At least early on. Before specializations, mages just lack damage and more melee just means AoE attacks will be nastier. After Specs are gained, it doesn't matter what you play if you craft the right items (+guard items for melee characters)
5) Humans are the master race, +1 talent early game makes much more a difference than added defense early game.
6) Storm Coast Astrarium quest leads to a strong bow for Sera early game. Get it asap for all you Sera fans.
7) 100% speed passive + catrops allows Sera to easily kite enemies early game.
8) Poison Weapons is not a bad buff considering how much health enemies have on nightmare.
9) Leaping Shot or Explosive shot will spread poison buff to all enemies hit, really nice.
10) Sundering enemies (reduce their armor) will greatly increase your party's damage. Throwing blades is perfect for this early game.

100% Approval. Take that noble who insisted Acantha must be someone's pet because she was an "ox-woman". Oh boy, was I ever steaming.
I'm betting I'll get Aubrey kicked out of the ball, haha.
So glad I've been bringing Sera along on missions; she just had the best dialogue with Blackwall!
Sera: The inquisition doesn't have to be made up of [downers] like you and Cassandra.Bunch of broodybeards!
Blackwall: She doesn't have the hair for it.
Sera: Oh I bet she does... elsewhere.
Lol, what is Sera's obsession with getting under Cassandra's pants? ;p
I disagree with so many of those, Wissy, lmao, but I"ll give you Static Cage, heck yeahhh.
I have no idea what page I show up on. Probably later than all y'all. I didnt' even register a Bioware account until August, and it was only to do the Keep Beta stuff, I don't' think I posted or read the regular forums until September at the earliest.[shuffles looking at post count in such a short time] But I like to act like I've been here ~all along~ anyway ;P

You have *seen* Cass, no? How can you blame her? Who doesn't have an obsession with getting under Cass's pants, lbr.

Oh, what do you disagree with? I'm not saying double mage is bad, is awesome once you get your spec. But early game its not so great.
tip 11:
Ignore requisition quests. They are a waste of time and material. The last thing you need more of in this game is power and influence. Save all those metals for crafting.

Getting into Cass' pants is a heavy risk but the prizeeeee......... ![]()
And Sera has a point, Cass doesn't seem the type to shave. lol
Full Draw + Stunning Shot is very useful for crowd control thing early on, imo. Typcial encounter is one melee enemy, two ranged. Full Draw on one archer/mage, then kill the other one, by the time the first one wakes up, you can kill it.
2 Mages + 1 archer rogue + 1 tank has always been my best party. Duel barriers + crowd control/damage from the mages, big damage from the archer, tank pulls all the aggro and bashes away. I tried two archers early on and I had more success with 2 mages, so I think it's a big ymmv situation.
Sera always looks amazing ![]()
And I don't find I need the extra ability point early on, most of my pre-Skyhold builds revolve around 2-3 key abilities/passives, so the ranged/magic defense seems better to me.
...so not so much huge disagreement, but it seems we played different ways! I think it was Unc who said earlier that it's pretty cool there's so much variety on how people are mastering the game, and I agree.
its all worth it... all the natrual worth is hehe. * lewd grin*Getting into Cass' pants is a heavy risk but the prizeeeee.........

@Veeia
I'll agree with that, there are a ton of different ways to play this game on nightmare. You can even make 2h warriors work on nightmare. It just a matter of how much effort you want to put in while playing.

Yup, definitely. I super appreciate all the tips you've given on 2Hers (and Poodle too), because now I can roll around with IB and Cole (as a DW, based on my own experimenting) on nightmare and it feels so satisfying.
