Yeah, Cole needs Evade set to priority and the same for combat roll w/ Iron Bull. Then just stack up on regen potions and abuse the OP static cage.
The reason I don't feel the need for double barrier is because if played well Cass almost never loses aggro in this game and the AI knows how to use shield wall.

I'll agree with that, there are a ton of different ways to play this game on nightmare. You can even make 2h warriors work on nightmare. It just a matter of how much effort you want to put in while playing.

Granted, there are many ways to skin a cat so to speak.
You like two mages, whereas I prefer a second rogue with me and others like taking two warriors.

Oh, I just killed the pride did on nightmare with a human mage. Thats the second time I did that, the first was with my 2h Qunari. lol Normally I have to seal the fade rifts enough times till the mission ends. lol
- Artificer is the most underrated spec in the entire game and by far the most versatile rogue spec.
The traps are useful but it's Opportunity Knocks and Looked Like It Hurt from the Sabotage tree that make the Artificer capable of clearing mobs and bosses alike.

I agree with everything in this bullet point except for the word "underrated". All the good players know how ridiculous Artificer is once you combine its crit passives with, say, Leaping Shot. You don't even need to take its focus ability to do preposterous amounts of damage...although if you do use it, you can kill high dragons in about thirty seconds.
I just started a new character too, but it's a rush game because I want to see if I can punch Solas, pump up his approval and then trigger his romance and then resume being a jerk he hates until the end romance scene where I'll be a jerk back (god I hope you can be angry and mean there) instead of sadface Lavellan.

It's amazing how switching back to casual is, haha, and how fast you can rush the game if you try. I already have Viv, Sera, and Blackwall recruited, will get to Champions of the Just before I go to bed probably. I started this 2 hours ago.

I love the cutscene where the Inquisition is officially formed. The music is perfect. I love seeing all the soldiers line up. In fact, I love how Haven greets you as a hero upon waking up. The intro to this game is far better than skyrim's.

;)Speaking of starting with new characters... I've started a male dwarf archer. Something different to my usual choices, which is either warrior (sword and shield) or mage. Couldn't really get into two-handed. Made him a follower of Andraste, he thinks he's "chosen". 
Now let's see how long I actually last before I delete and start again... for the 500th time.
I'm actually loving the archer, wish I'd tried it sooner. Plus having underworld knowledge from the get go makes me feel like a bad-arse for some reason... This time around, I'm going to do everything different. I've already sided and allied with the Templars, usually I'd enslave them to impress Sera. 
Not so much for approval, more for the fact that I like to have her pleased with me. What can I say, I was/am whipped.
I thought about not even recruiting Sera so I wouldn't have to go through the torture of looking at that gorgeous face/body of hers and not be able to, you know... but I love those bees too much, so she's in.
Just for kicks, I recruit her then go talk to her in that tavern in Haven. This is what happens when I attempt to pull the moves on her, as a male:
Sera: I think I'll like you, "Lord Herald". Maybe you are a little "chosen", yeah?"
Inquisitor: I think I'll like having you around, Sera. I hope you'll feel the same way.
Sera: Pfft. Not even!
Burn! Btw, those pick up lines make me cringe. Never in my right mind would I pull moves like that... but anyway.
Think I'm going to have to romance Cass. Between her and Josie she is much more appealing. Josie doesn't do anything for me, she's alright for a politician I suppose... but Cass has an interesting personality. I'll invite her up to my quarters, light some candles and.... read a few chapters of "Swords and Shields" to her, cause I'm romantic like that.
I'll just have to admire the beauty of Sera from afar.

I adore everything from In Your Heart Shall Burn until after getting skyhold. Best bloody cutscene ever!!
