....Re: Sera being easily bootable. Still uncomfortable with that. I try to be charitable and imagine it was a later, rushed job when they realized she was one of the few who didn't leave and had no plot reason to do so? But yeah, I am still bah on that. I wonder if a lot of people's problems with her might have changed if they had been forced to keep her around long enough to get a better idea of who she is instead of being able to boot her immediately, shrug.
I thought the two crisis scenes, where she basically feels you are acting too 'big' or because of the Well of Sorrows mission, were both good plot points for her leaving? These didn't work for you? I mean Sera would be the first one I would expect to tell you to go stuff it if she felt you were not being a good person, so that really fit her character for me? For someone who likes the character as you do, what about those scenes are rushed to you? Why are they done poorly? Maybe I am missing something because of my viewpoint?
I will say that I have spent time getting a better idea of her, and I have also re-watched videos on scenes and read about party banter here, and learned alot about Sera. I did this after so many advocates said, get to know her, you will like her. I still have problems with her, I still don't like her as a character.
Some people are just going to have problems with Sera, she is that kind of character. I am one of them. Its not that people just haven't gotten to know her. Its okay to dislike her, just as its okay to like her. That is also the mark of a interesting character, and I think its good she is in the game. But she is the first Bioware companion that I truly dislike.
