I'll be surprised if that happens, i fully suspect that if there's any flirting that the player can't control then it'll be heterosexual only to avoid alienating people who don't want that stuff in their game.

Well considering Bioware's response to upset fans from DA2 who were annoyed Anders flirted with their male Hawke was to "get over it" I doubt they care. If it fits the characters I'm sure they'll do it.

Im not so sure about that anymore, some of the comments ive read about Sera have been downright nasty just cos she happens to be a gay character.

You should write a "50 Shades of Grey" type of book. It seems you would be good at it.

Judging by the OT threads and this one here, I find that is more retaliation -- mostly by straight dudes -- since they cannot have Sera how they want her.

Probably not, while I understand why it would matter to some people in real life, Sera doesn't strike me as the type to really consider the implications of someone cheating on her with a man vs. a woman. She'd probably just be pissed that someone cheated on her period, not matter who it was with.

I'm going to go with "no" for now seeing as this hasn't been a theme in former Dragon Age games.

 

At least I don't remember any cheated characters doing that.

Like fiveforchaos said, if she's angry it'll be because you cheated on her, period. The gender of the person you did it with probably won't really matter.

After thinking about it for a bit, I'd say that I doubt she'd react much differently if the PC cheats on her with a man or a woman.  In real life, I know that isn't often the case (when a bisexual cheats on someone in a s/s relationship with someone of the oppposite gender,) but I doubt the writers will address the nuance.  Whether or not that would be considered an oversight or a victim of the word budget is up in the air.  

 

I had to mull it over, because as a bisexual the gender wouldn't make a difference to me.  It would sting pretty equally. However, I know that isn't always the case with lesbians and gay men with bisexual partners.

I'd be kinda ticked if she reacted differently to the Inquisitor cheating with a man vs. cheating with a woman. There's a lot of biphobia among the LGBQ+ community, and I wouldn't want my escapist fantasy video game to remind me of that,
