When I very first found this thread I assumed it would be about Sera, but when I joined in it wasn't even talking about her.
I came to give my 2 cents on Sera and leave, instead I have stayed because of the lively and varied discussion...as evident from the 1932 pages of posts...

No. In the end, I have not. Never would have made it past pre-enlistment medical and psychological examinations. Medical wouldn't be too bad. Psychotests is probably where it'd crumble.

So, yes. I turned out to be a coward, to be blunt.

Nothing but a sad sack of sh*t that's too scared of pre-enlistment examinations.

I chickened out over thinking something would go bad when there was a slim chance it wouldn't.

So you have to give up your identity instead? You have to sacrifice yourself?  And you aren't forcing her to give up hers, just allow you yours.  She doesn't have to accept the religion, just accept you believe something different

 

No, if you believe that deeply in one of the religions that refuses to accept Sera you have the option of accepting that the theological divide between you is too great and moving on. Regardless, Sera wasn't the one calling her lover's beliefs "warped".

 

After the Well, Sera is in an absolute panic: If the Inquisitor didn't romance her, then it's over the possibility that the religious beliefs that have been one of the few sources of comfort to her in her entire life are wrong, and there isn't any place for her in this world or the next. If the Inquisitor did romance her, and also drank from the Well, the possibility that a demon has hollowed out the woman she loves and is wearing her skin like a suit is added on top of that. Either way, pushing things while she's in the middle of the panic attack is a bad idea, and if you want to have that talk, first talk her down off the ledge so that her panic won't be the thing dictating her actions and responses.

Already finished game but still need to get in party "sera" while completing that quest I choose first Vivienne and quest ended it did not show me any place or something where I cloud get sera? is it normal?

There isn't anything wrong with that. Signing up to be a soldier, that's not something to be done lightly. The fact you became scared is just your subconscious saying "Don't do this." That's not cowardice, cowardice would be signing up, getting over there and realising you aren't cut out for it. You're over there, a burden to your squadron, because you are afraid to take the risks necessary to survive. It's better for everyone to just not join up if even one seed of doubt gets planted. That there, I think, is an act of bravery in itself.

Just wish the Female Qunari had more Hair options (Horn) optimal would be different Tabs for hair and horns.

I see my Qunari with a Long silver while Ponytail Falling down past her shoulders but sadly thats not possible =(.

Its either very short hair or bald.

Dismissing Sera's beliefs as "warped" doesn't show any compassion for her, either. But at least she doesn't say belief in the Old gods is warped, just that if it's true that means that the only religion that ever has accepted or can accept her is false. And she sees asking her to accept a religion that refuses to accept her as asking her to sacrifice a part of her identity to continue the romance and that is every bit as wrong.

 

Sera is the one who gives the ultimatum not the Inquisitor. Her views on elves are warped, not all elves are the same, she enjoys using that elfy bit too much. We can't even talk to her about what happens at the Temple she shuts us out and goes into panic mood if you stand up for your beliefs. No one is forcing their elven beliefs on her, standing by your beliefs doesn't mean we are diminishing hers. I like Sera, I feel for her as she can't quite comprehend what she saw but she is unreasonable in that scene to a devout elf, de-convert to continue the romance, that's messed up, I can't defend this.

I understand, and agree with you, about her state of mind, and why she is so afraid.  Its terrifying for her.  I think the way she behaves is fitting for her character, I just feel her character is not very tolerant of other viewpoints.  Especially one she deems bad or stupid, and she does call your beliefs stupid.  But thats part of who Sera is, its her viewpoint and she is entitled to it.

 

But do you really think she would be okay, even once calm, with the long term prospect of being with a Dalish?  That she wouldn't require, at some point, for her lover to become Adrastian? Eventually she wouldn't be able to reconcile having respect and love for you, when you believe something she considers to be stupid..
