Yeah you have to disable Mark of Death in the tactics menu or the AI detonates it early.
Making Cole into an archer helps too since Full Draw from Stealth can do some crazy damage.

 

Thing is, I disabled it. And Cole is an archer.

Diminishing her beliefs is exactly what standing by the belief that the Old gods who have no place for her is, though, because if you believe in the Old gods it means you believe that her beliefs are false. She's already in a panic mood, and pushing a belief in gods that won't and can't accept her is telling her that she has to de-convert to continue the romance, and that's just as messed up and indefensible.

 

 

 

You could say the same to a devout Dalish about reconciling her love and respect for Sera with Sera believing something the Dalish considers stupid. I never said that a devout Dalish could - or even should - set aside deeply held beliefs, but asking Sera to do that is just as wrong.

 

 

Who is the person who gives that lousy ultimatum in that scene??? I don't know why you're purposely ignoring facts here. Sera doesn't allow a devout elven Inquisitor to stay in the romance AND hold onto their values, it is either submit to my views on this or I'm dumping you. There is no middle ground here, there is no way both can stay in the romance with differing religious beliefs unless a devout Inquisitor rejects their beliefs and purposely feeds into the lie that yes Sera what you saw at the Temple was all demons just to calm her down and in doing so is lying to her which is wrong in itself, it's deceitful, not a healthy way to resolve what happened at the Temple for both parties.

 

I'm curious did you actual play as an elven who was devout? Because I don't know how you can not see what Sera is doing to her partner in that scene is wrong, it's very selfish and incredibly cruel, believe in what I believe too, disregard all that you were raised to believe all your life or I'm dumping you, like srsly how is that okay, that's not right. And the amount of times she has said elfy things are stupid and what you believe in is stupid is numerous, can't say I once returned the favour to her in regards to her very casual Andrastian ways.

 

 

But you don't ask Sera to do that.  Se asks you, she gives you the ultimatum, you don't give it to her.  Yes she may feel she has no choice, that you even believing your beliefs threatens hers...but that doesn't make it okay for her to do that, and it does not mean that you are asking her to set aside her beliefs.

 

Keeping your own belief does not require others to change theirs.....saying 'you must change....or else' is requiring others to change.  But thats part of her character, of who she is, she's strong willed, uncompromising...has her own drum beat....only its a tamborine and not a drum...thats how unique she is 

 

This, I swear I'm going in circles here.
