A devout follower of the Old gods is telling Sera that she has to accept beliefs which have no place for and put no value upon her as equally valid to the beliefs that do have a place for and do put value upon her if you press the matter in the post-Well scene. That is the fact that you keep choosing to ignore.
That devout follower of the old gods doesn't even raise the topic. Sera does. By directly attacking the inquisitors faith no less. The only thing Sera ever needs to accept in that scene is the fact that people have different beliefs. The inquisitor isn't asking Sera to believe anything, just to let her have her own beliefs. Which is apparently too much to ask. But then again she's only really looking for something to keep her own world and identity from crumbling at that moment, not really interested in any theological debate or truth. She just needs a hug at that moment. Too bad her tongue is faster than her brain >.<
