Re the specialization chats, god, rogue gets so screwed over its so obnoxious.
Artificer gets one conversation with Varric, and it's not even very satisfying...more about him and how special Bianca is than anything else. Apparently you get a special option with (the person) Bianca, but it didn't even trigger in my PT.
Tempest gets a comment from IB, and I have yet to see a special dialogue option for it.
Assassin is slightly better, netting a cute convo with Dorian and a meaningful one with Leli.
But it's nothing compared to the Mage specialty interactivity, or the Templar/Champion ones...reaver does seem lackluster as well tho too.
And even with the ones those get, it's still very small compared to the big set up with the trainers implies.
I still haven't made that decision yet, i.e. which rogue specialisation for my Inquisitrix. All three are ready to go... I'm just not sure which best suits an archer.
On that front... does Tempest's 'Thousand Cuts' actually work properly with a bow? I had Sera use it once because I'd heard it was awesome and... she seemed to try and stab the enemy, which makes no sense. Like 'Shadow Strike' it looks to be very dagger-oriented?
thats rumourSeriously? What the f*ck!? "Oh because one kid did it, every kid is gonna do it" Bull f*cking sh*t! ARGH! MAKES ME SO ANGRY!

Ho- how does this magical relic work? How do you see?
My first video game system was an Atari 2600.
I remember I played a lot of 'Plaque Attack' on it. Think 'Space Invaders' but with a toothpaste tube instead of a tank, and food items instead of aliens.

Great graphics. ![]()

Plaque Attack. Oh how many a good meal died in the years following its release.

My first was...
A PC. With Windows XP. My first game ever was Monster Truck Rumble, a totally unknown monster truck racing game. The PC was built with the express purpose to be able to "run Harry Potter" - I believe I'm quoting myself here. Or quoting myself as much as I can, after translating the words. Damn, I can't believe I remember the words I used some eleven years ago. And yes, I'm a '95 kid. Not much to see here.
Still... It was a pretty bad one, compared to the i5 and 770 I have now. I do seem to remember running Half-Life 2 on it. Or maybe I ran it after the first upgrade ever...? No idea. Anyway, I was too scared of a Vort on the City 17 trainstation, and so never progressed beyond that point until about two years ago, when I finally completed all of the Half-Lifes. Damn Poison Zombies! Creepier than DA's spiders, I swear it.
On a Sera-related note, I keep rewatching her in Redcliffe dungeon. Sera, shut the heck up, and let me hug you!
And on a completely unrelated note...
Am I the only one who remembers Cat promising she'd turn My Little Toy into an audiobook...? ![]()

my dentist has that for the kids... bloody pushbucket wont sell it to me i offered 250Plaque Attack. Oh how many a good meal died in the years following its release.

OH. MY. GOD. Cat! Where is this gift!?
Yes it works with a bow and it's especially good since archers get Pincushion.
Personally, I prefer Artificer but you can't go wrong with any of them.
He's probably bugged. When I first tried Thousand Cuts (or the first few times, in my first PT), it always bugged out and I only got the final hit - for all of Focus. Pretty weak.
But now, on my NM playthrough, Flask of Fire + Thousand Cuts demolished two dragons already.
Admittably, the second ended up with Cass staring down the beast, chanelling her inner Pentaghast Dragon Hunter as she finished the beast off.

Just wait for her to curse my conveniently long memory, that can forget things it doesn't like in five seconds or less, but will remember stuff like this for YEARS on end ![]()

I'm reading this and I'm thinking "what the hell is a Sinclair?"
He was the original commanding officer on Babylon 5. ![]()
And I tried to get this started awhile ago, but because it was in a long post of dooooom either it got lost in the shuffle or I missed any replies to it: What type of cookies do your Inquisitor and Sera make? Mine makes gingersnaps because the recipe is simple (and it's not like clan Lavellan's mobile lifestyle afforded Whisper many chances to learn to bake), and because Sera couldn't resist having the "Us" cookies be a pun about her red hair.
WTF!!! I get the super awesome Dalish High Keeper Armor, and its like..the same exact armor except for the sash is purple as the earlier elven armor....seriously?

She'll claw out your eyes, man! Guard your eyes!

Bowie, all other posts aside..I love you right now...
Sinclair!!!! Much better than the Cowboy Sheridan, who is also badass yes, but Sinclair....is like Picard to Sheridan's Kirk...Older, wiser, better

It's ok. I got a ball of twine, right here.

My memory does that too! I'm not alone! *sniffles*
*throws ball of twine*
So, that thing's not happening...? ![]()
I'm still surprised that Tempest hasn't nerfed tbh.
It's even a beast in MP.
Wait, there is an actual, LEGIT Tempest in MP?
I saw some passives from Tempest on the Archer, but that's it.
In the Void.
