Impératrice is empress (from the Latin Imperator. The adjective 'imperial' also comes from there). Emprise du Lion would translate to 'Grasp of the Lion' or 'the Lion's Hold' or something like that.

Oh don't worry, the accent is charming. Also, that story escalated quickly once Sera entered the Inquisy's office. You got a very dirty mind, shame. ![]()

I realised that I have way more money than I'm going to spend now so I went to Val Royeaux and bought all the Skyhold decorations. I kind of like the four poster bed. It fits the scale of your room more.
Snip
Also I await completion of the War Nug operation...
I like that bed also but I would recommend not having it for the Vivienne suggestion scene. Doesn't work properly, my inquisitor fell into the bed.

Better a filthy mind and a clean body than the other way around. ![]()

All the beds except the default one lead to problems. Either Sera falls under the bed or the Quizzy falls into the pillows. Very weird.

Yeah I noticed that I couldn't jump on it like the default one, so I wondered if it might cause Sera's romance to glitch...
Is Sera the only one that uses the bed?

I listened a little more... And a little more attentively...
And I came to a... different... conclusion. Partially.
The French shows, quite a bit more than I originally noticed.
You also sound a lot like a Turian, Cat.

Yeah... For some reason I thought Cat sounded a bit like Mira Furlan, and she could've played a Turian. She's Croatian though, and I always get an Eastern European vibe from Turians. Weird that we should both pick up on that...

East Europe wibe from Turians? No idea where that came from.
I live in central Europe, though, so I'm not sure I'm much more qualified to say.

You bunch of dorks have played way TOO many Bioware games if your comparing real life accents to video game accents. I'm totally not like that, I'm a cool kid. *puts on shades and whistles* ![]()

Yeah you're on the edge of what I'd call Eastern Europe from here in Britain. That's more of a cold war throwback than an accurate description of European geography, though.East Europe wibe from Turians? No idea where that came from.

I will never tire of the irony of a bunch of intellectuals hanging out in the least intellectual character's thread. Life is funny that way.

Yes, we're not excessively eastern. More like the true middle.
But you're right in one meaning of the term "east europe" - we were the most western situated country of the eastern block.

Wonder if I know what you mean.
Wha?
She's a language teacher, which requires high intelligence, if you're going to speak two languages fluently without any amount of syntax errors, and such. I wouldn't even be surprised if English was Cat's "second" language - as much as it can be, in a bi-lingual country like Canada.
Me, I'm studying history and a foreign language. I wouldn't classify myself as particularly clever, but I guess I'm not an idiot, either.
You, you're also on college. That means you're not stupid.
Uncle knows enough history and geography for me to consider him a graduate himself.
Enough examples?
