I've only recently caught up on DA:I stuff, but Sera looks like she'll be a fun character. Are there any videos floating around with any of her interactions with the PC or other characters?

No, just banter with Iron Bull, which can faintly be heard as the party passes through Redcliffe Village.

Pickpocketing always makes sense.
Indeed, there's never a bad time for a bit of pickpocketing!

During the GI coverage they shown a glimpse of exploration skills: rogue had, other then lockpicking (who was listed to have two uses) a skill called 'agility' who granted them three different uses (though from the shoot it isn't clear what was stated to do).
Warriors and mages had more exploration skills though (three). Don't know if and how things might've changed in this department.
I was thinking maybe the rogues can get to places others can't.
Sera could like, back-flip up onto some ledge and grab extra loot.

Or sneak past guards/ into places and sabotage stuff before you go in? Like, pour over oil so a mage or an archer with fire arrows can ignite it, or loosen a walkway so it falls when archers run out onto it?

If Cassandra can be specced to knock down old iron gates, I don't see why not, lol

Of course, the extra loot will always be stuff like, torn trousers. Looking on the bright side, Sera possibly gets a new pair of pants.

Then...mayhem.

Honestly I hope that's something they fixed from DA2. Looking for loot felt almost useless after a while considering most of it was junk that was only worth a copper or two. Would be nice if you actually found some cool stuff once in a while.

"No, I totally need these tattered platoons!! ...Isabela... What are you doing--don't throw them in the fire! Noooo! " useless junk collection was what made Selena Hawke , Selena Hawke.

Has anyone else here seen this interview with Cameron Lee? He talks about Sera's personality a bit more (around 2:45)...I really wish they would have shown off her personality in the demo even if it came across as 'mean'.
Hawke was the queen/king of rummaging. I mean, the Champion armor is looted from the gut of a dragon.
That's true..and quite gross ![]()

I've seen it. It's not much but I guess it's something.
Personally, I didn't think they would show off anyone's personality in the E3 vids. The demo was already quick and felt a little too fragmented to make much sense of.
Also, has this been posted?

Wow, that was a really informative and interesting interview. I dare say it's the best one I've seen yet. Kudo to them. I think we got a little bit of Sera's sass in the dwarf demo with the "do some bloody presses" line.

My nickname for Sera :
Straight Up.
How so? Well, from the Urban Dictionary:
Straight up
like the straight arrow, flying forward towards its target, straight up gets straight to the point. No bullshit, I am telling you exactly what I mean.
Which fits her perfectly. From her Character Profile interview:
With the fate of Thedas hanging in the balance and pressures mounting, Sera’s reckless abandon won’t win over every party member she fights alongside.
“Sera likes people who try (even if they fail), and is suspicious of people who are so powerful they don’t have to,” Kristjanson says. “There are people she loves, people she hates, and people she loves to hate. That draws a line, in and out of the party.”
In short, Sera speaks her mind.
“She makes no secret of her feelings,” Kristjanson says. “I don’t think she could if she tried.”
Also, it kind of makes fun of the people who want her to be a romance for male Inquisitors as well, and have been complaining heavily about her being a lesbian. Of course I'm not making fun of the people who are just disappointed and nothing else, that'd be cruel.
