I've said it before, but I had a massive crush on her when she was in Spooks. Short haired women who kick ass FTW.

When you posted this picture I had to look at more photo's and the vid you posted to be sure but her eyes are about as similar to mine as I've seen. It's funny I didn't notice until you posted this picture.

Seriously, I look at the ME series and I'm just not interested.

But... But... Liara!

Also the other one in that film, the second Girl who he sleeps with but then gets killed because she's bad and it's a Bond film.

She's not short-haired xd

Ha, I didn't notice it was done up. I'm trying to forget that film.

(Edit) But blonde, though so it works out, sort of.

I never liked my eyes when I was young they were too dark I wanted my Father's light bright blue eyes. I didn't realize that later they would be my most commented on feature. It's funny how things work out.

I actually have a slight preference for redheads and brunettes, as you might guess from My Femshep, canon Hawke and Tressa all being redheads, but you know... Actually with all the pics I posted bar the Bond girl, I love the character.

My favourite woman who kicks ass remains Ivanova from B5, though, and her hair is neither blonde nor short, although she does tie it back a lot...

It's too sleek and clean! As is most sci-fi. I like gritty and dirty!

Tell me this isn't cooler than the original!

If you liked the Thief games you'll like this one. Plus the style is amazing and the world....Gods, I haven't seen such a well-made fictional culture where humanity is both familiar and utterly alien at the same time since Dune.

Ah well. No one can say I didn't try... ;)

In all seriousness, though, almost all my favourite sci-fi has a gritty underbelly. B5 has down below, where all the criminals and poor people who can't afford to leave the station get stuck. The BSG re-imagining is very gritty, and Firefly's setting is positively dystopian. I don't mind Star Trek, but one reason I'm not as big a fan as some is that The Federation is just too utopian to make it interesting...

Dishonored is quite steampunk-ish and that's what i love about this game. Though the game gets more tolerable on stealth mode (i kinda suck at stealth tbh)

Also so many great pics here....

I meant the pattern of short and blonde, not commenting on any particular preference. Though I had noticed your recurring short reds.

I sadly struggle to think of many female characters I really like.

It's solid, though not brilliant in any particular way except for the world itself. Defiantly worth a look if you're into Deus Ex, Thief, or the stealth action genre at large. Possibly also worth a look if you like Skyrim's combat feel.

Special mention for having one of the more interesting explorations of gender in a game, if you look for it. Or at least I thought so and a random blog I remember did as well, so I figure that's legit.

----

I never particularly liked Mass Effect's setting either. I play it because BioWare.

mostly because of how the system causes "issues" for you if you deviate from the ninja/no-kill style in luie of "probelm solver"
