I read the local, small time papers. There are usually a couple of stories of someone making an utter fool of themselves in an attempted robbery or similar. There was this guy once who was harassing/molesting women (not funny) and he wound up getting scalding coffee thrown in his face (funny because he deserved it).

 

This one I actually witnessed: A young man was walking down the street, his skateboard under his arm, coming towards me. I cross paths with him, turn around and see that his back is covered in blood! He fell down at the skateboard park and got cut something fierce! Anyway, this guy is just walking, chill as you please, dripping blood all over the sidewalk.

 

And they say I live in a boring town.

I guess psychologist isn't a protected term, but I would term a psychologist to be a scientist who studies the mind, or human behaviour. Medically I guess it's like dietitians and nutritionists. The former must be a medical professional, but the latter can be anyone who wants to sell you some diet they made up.

Think I'm going to play something other than DAI. I have Heroines Quest on my steam list (its free!) and I've heard nothing but good things about it And I could play a bit more skyrim as well. Wonder if anyone's made a Sera mod for it yet Ooh! What kind of elf would Sera be in Elder Scrolls? I vote khajit (yes, they're mer, therefore elves)

MP is completely broken, like once I tried to play a match and it took me 5 tries because I encounter five different glitches and that's not out of the ordinary...., so they need to focus on that, but yeah all of the horrible issues with the SP (besides Hawke voice glitch) aren't really getting much attention either. Hoping now that the holidays are over things get moving there.

@Uncle I honestly have no idea. The patch/patches that have been released thus far have done nothing to fix anything and it seems their concentration has shifted more to multiplayer...which i don't get at all. What I do know is this will be the last game I ever pre-order or purchase from them. i just don't appreciate feeling duped. at all. I love the characters from this game and that's honestly the only reason I still play it. This is only for PS3 as I can't speak for others.

I was the main person saying graphics weren't huge but then I saw Sera's shiny blond hair and black hair that looks shiny but grey somehow and THEN they screwed up Dorian's mustache in hella cutscenes and the characters melt into scenes like some claymation Gumby ish. i didn't realize just how beautiful Josie REALLY is until i saw a clip on youtube on a ps4. Add the constant freezing and lag and it's just...I'm here for the characters.

 

I play on PC so I can't completely feel what you're going through but I've seen comparisons between the platforms and I've formed the impression that they included PS3 as a platform merely to boost sales because, to be honest, I really think they should have admitted to players it was not going to be a good-looking game on that platform and probably should not have included it in their specs. Sorry you are having an issue with it. Can you switch to PC or is that not an option?

Is she that fond of sweets? Mmh... Her general features tell me Bosmer, but the general sense of 'I'm right and you're stupid for disagreeing' makes me lean towards Altmer...

She's certainly tall enough.

Most people who dont have this game on newer platforms can't afford it. I don't have disposable income to just buy another platform considering I became unemployed just before Thanksgiving. See how y'all don't know me and my struggles? lol

Aside from that, there are mad games on the PS3 that are graphically superior to DAI and this is why I'm not understanding this excuse people are using saying "it wasn't made for last gen". This is where I feel duped because hello tech lady here...you not about to tell me that this game was not capable of more on the PS3. like nah. You'll need to then explain how other games that were released before it have somehow managed to pull off these awesome visuals and stability.

*edit* and another thing, i paid the same amount of money that most of you did regardless of platform and depending on which version you got (I got.the deluxe edition). that's another part of feeling duped as well. but I digress. for now.

No you have every right to be annoyed. If for whatever reason they couldn't make a game that would work on PS3, they shouldn't have released it. Or they should've kept working on it until they could make it work.

No, I believe you. I would keep pestering them then because if they did release this game in less than perfect optimization for PS3 and you know the platform can render it better than you've a right to feel they cheated you. You deserve a response from them on the issue and a pledge to improve the game's quality for your platform.

Which is why I don't like the label RPG being applied to the Witcher series. It's also why I couldn't understand why Witcher fans would troll DA fans as the games are not really comparable. Not knocking the Witcher series and I may buy the new game but it's apples and oranges really. One detraction from the series though, for me, is you can only play as Geralt. I get the reason why, books and all, but it's a detraction.

Okay, I have it for PS3, and I would have been very depressed if they had not released it for PS3.  I also wouldn't be here on these forums yet!  I dont' care that much about graphics because... STORY...ya know.  I don't care what it looks like, I care about the plot.  I would not have wanted them to not release it for PS3.

 

 

That said...it is rather BS to pay full price for a game that is not  the same quality or as playable.  The graphics on PS3 are terrible.  I am watching scenes were literally ever other second another layer of mesh or finishing is being applied.  (I'm not technically savvy so forgive the terms). I'm sure part of it is my old PS3 but it clearly looks like the PS3 version is terrible for graphics, and obviously other people are having issues.  

 

Maybe they could have released it at partial price? Or with some kind of voucher towards the PS4 version?

 

I want to be able to play the game right away so I wanted a PS3 version, but I completely understand and agree that the quality of the game, graphics and glitches wise, is not the same as the next gen console version.
