Yup. I'd be pissed if I paid full price for DA:I on last gen with the way it runs and looks right now, you have every right to feel that way. They didn't have to release it for those consoles, but they did, knowing full well that it would a. make them a lot more money and b. deliver an inferior product to a large section of their customers. That's shady, no doubt about it.

I am watching scenes were literally ever other second another layer of mesh or finishing is being applied. (I'm not technically savvy so forgive the terms).
That's interesting because I've noticed that when I enter a new area on PC, it will sometimes take a second or two to render all the elements of the scene, until the full quality graphics appear. It happens quickly so it's generally not a problem, but it sounds like the same thing is happening more slowly on the PS3 hardware. I guess it must be down to the way Frostbite works...

I have to play on low settings on PC and in windows mode until I can get my graphics card fixed and it's pretty bad and loooong load times and textures and meshes popping and all kinda of issues and but it's still not as bad as I've seen on my friends 360 and my computers graphics capabilities are not even supported by dragon age. (Integrated HD4000)...so...yeah.

There is different, then there is, watching the 3d model become finished before your eyes...or not even becoming finished so you are watching what looks like the special effects featurette portion of a DVD walking around your screen.

RENDERING!!! Thats the word I was looking for. Yeah, you are watching a cut scene and maybe by the end of it the people will have skin tone and wrinkles...cause they are slowly being rendered.

This is a great video showing the difference. This is also why I think part of it is my old ps3, because the characters in this video for PS3 examples are more finished than the ones on my game.

I got to Haven last night on nightmare and only had to do one revival of a downed character in the scene with the pride demon at the temple of sacred ashes. No wipes. Quite pleased with that...So started my nightmare run... already getting my arse handed to me... thought it was biggerXD

My PS3 is a year old. 500 GB. I forgot which hard drive it is using (yes I check that stuff too). This game shouldn't be showing up the way it does. Period. You mean to tell me Beyond 2 Souls, Skyrim, GTA freakin 5, The Last of Us and all these other games that came out looking like a PS3 game should somehow managed to pull it off and DAI couldn't? That's nonsense. Insults everybody's intelligence as well. They haven't acknowledged this like there is zero commentary anywhere about this anywhere else other than this forum. Seriously. The people in the last gen (hate that term)thread have taken to creating a petition just to get NOTICED. like i've never saw that having to happen for a game that is quite obviously not what they promised us. That's a fact. Not whining, just facts.
it's disheartening and honestly disgusts me that they're all about this GoTY thing and I can't even see how truly fine Josie is...my waifu either because she looks plastic on my ish but you know...still bae. I've lost mad respect for this company.

She can kill all 10 dragons with her focus skill alone... on nightmare... I don't know if it was supposed to be like that... feels like cheating.
....But between doing that or fighting my own party AI so they can keep distance, and a not very useful tactical cam... I will always use her.

It's pretty hard to NOT die VERY quickly, if someone breaks a flask on their chest plate, only to stab you a thousand times before you can react.
That's how I imagine Thousand Cuts lore-wise. A very much upgraded, by far more badass, extremely so, Flask of Lightning.
