Let me go ahead and bite back on my forked tongue and explain myself a bit.

I am in fact smart enough to know that everything can be broken down to chemical components. The post you made can be taken as you insulting someones intelligence. Hence my reaction. Your fallow up post should have been the first you mad because it summed up your stance without you coming off as possibly insulting someone. As for someone doing something you don't like. That pretty much means nothing. People will do things you don't like all the time. That's kind of how interacting with people works. It also does not give you the right to start disrespecting or insulting people The auto censors apparently do not like the word pri-ck.

I posted my follow up post precisely because I thought twice and decided that my original post could come across as a bit too insulting. That was its purpose. I do like that graphic though.

It's not even 9:30 here yet. I'm waiting for my coffee break. Waaah.

And I should have simply deleted my post and started over when I seen your fallow up,sorry. Chalk it up to today being meds day and waking up to give yourself eight injections was the last thing I needed today.

We're only cruel to ourselves.  :(  I have this urgent craving for bananas and nutella and none of either nearby and no lunch for another hour so I've shot myself in the foot so to speak!

Is the cat on your avatar sitting on a laptop screen, Cat?

And talking of avatars, wintery's makes me want to play pranks with Sera again! I need to recruit her quickly on my new PT. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms, but I am congenitally incapable of rushing through Bioware games...

Serza's guide to playing Dragon Age: Inquisition - to be heeded to the last bit.

1) Start the game

2) Rush as fast as humanely possible

3) Recruit Sera

4) Continue playing game as seen fit.

I was reading Last Flight before DAI came out. I've yet to finish it, and I've a load of other (not Bioware related) books backed up on my Kindle. One of these months...

Kindle... Gotta get the little thing. I own all the books DA-related except for Last Flight (scheduled to come out this year in translation, gah) but I want them originals. Not getting those physically.

Also, Mass Effect novels. BEFORE I get back to Migrant Fleet Marine, preferably, as I intend to mix in the events of one of the novels. The Quarian-related one...?

I have a solution to the banana sharing problem:

Kyra's approach:

1) Start the game

2) get 4 power and run to Val Royeaux

3) Recruit Everybody

4) Get 50 power so you can do Adamant and Halamshiral in one huge run.

This is exactly how I play. My current game I was all "this camp, this place, templars FOUR POWER TIME TO GO"

I was actually having trouble reading. My eyes were getting pretty bad. Once I got a kindle and could adjust the brightness and font size, I could suddenly read again, and I read a lot. Wonderful having that whole world of stories open to me again.

She's got a really good style! The way she shifted from the classic right-hand lead to left-hand jab/combo to bringing both gloves forward is very skilled. Impressive!

To be fair to Jon Jones, Holly Holm cut her teeth in boxing where he was a wrestler.

But she really is an excellent striker.

Boxing fan I take it?

Before I had a kobo I brought as many books for the length of my journey + 4 extras.

...Can you imagine how heavy my bookbags were? I was sure security wouldn't let me board the air craft, and I'm amazed I didn't break a shoulder!

Oh way back. Not so much now. But as a kid I watched every Ali and Sugar-Ray fight I could. But my interest waned about the time Don King and Tyson arrived in the sport. I don't follow at all now but I can spot a good style when I see one and she's got it!

Truce accepted. (the like was for the apology not the fact that you had a crappy day with your meds.)

Dayumn, Dazzle. Don't kill yourself with all the reading.

I like reading - a whole lot. I can blitz through a The Calling-sized book in a day, if I feel like it. Once the book absorbs me, there is no saving me. And while paperbacks/hardbacks are awesome, I much prefer original languages.

Example, in Asunder, a certain character talks about the Hero of Ferelden. Surprise surprise, in Czech, they had to give the Hero a set gender, because the word for "Hero" can't stay the same in that particular title, while in English, it's still gramatically correct.

Lemme tell ya, it's an immersion killer. I much prefer English in this way, where you can say Champion, Shepard, Hero of Ferelden, Inquisitor, etc. and if you're clever, you never need to suggest a gender. In Czech, the endings of words change depending on the gender.

I'm more of a Frazier fan myself (still love Ali though) but the Four Kings era would've been a hell of a time to be a boxing fan.

Gender is the thing I have most problem with in foreign languages. It's inconsistent and in my view mostly unnecessary.

One of my favourites are when there are two names for the same object and one is feminine and the other masculine. like le vélo and la bicyclette in French... What even?

When I was studying Mandarin (no verb conjugations, yay!) it was interesting to me that "he", "she", and "it" sound exactly the same, but they're written differently. So as long as you're talking, gender can remain ambiguous/contextual.

It's mostly for the airport and hotels, the reading I do. I mean, I don't go on a trip and then just ignore the scenery and read non-stop in a new country :P

Those darn Czechs ending their words in a silly way. :P

It was the best era in my opinion. I used to pass by Frazier's gym everyday after work but despite his hold over my hometown I always preferred Ali even though Ali was never respectful enough to him.

Relevant:

*snip*

A very good example of a bigger fighter versus a smaller fighter. He knows that he has no chance of matching her in movement speed and agility but is stronger and less vulnerable to her body shots due to the difference in weight so he hangs back looking for opportunities during her attacks and using his superior reach. She, for her part, knows she can't afford to take many hits from him and she needs to land much more to make an impact so she uses movement and deception to maximal effect in order to close in, throw a bunch of punches towards his head and escape retaliation. Two skilled people fighting, even in a sparring setting, is a thing of beauty :)

Oh. That sucks. Thankfully, it's just the endings here, and it's fairly consistent. As a native speaker, there is no chance you'll mix them up, but they're not too hard to learn as a foreigner, IMHO.

Aaah, you get used to it, it's more or less OK. The language can be a nightmare somewhere else, though. SO MANY RULES.

Mostly, I can write gramatically correct without knowing them though. Have a feel for the language. It's not bulletproof, but it's decent enough.

She's also an all too rare exponent of "stepping on the sword" and started by taking away his jab, although that's standard for a southpaw.

It really was.

Between Hagler, Hearns, Leonard and Duran tearing it up and Ali's epic struggles with Frazier, Foreman and Norton (he totally won the last fight), there was almost always a great fight to be found.

I am generally good at getting a feel for the correct flow of syntax in a foreign language, too. It's another reason why I can look better when speaking French or Spanish than I actually am. I sound right. My accent is good, I construct my sentences properly and have the right rhythm, so other errors I make (like gender of words or minor errors conjugating verbs) go more unnoticed. ;)
