Hmm...odd. I was looking for who approved after I delivered the ram meat and there was nothing. But there might be some other trigger at work where I needed to do something else to trigger it there. I don't know. It's so random at times,the approvals, or so it appears.
If you did it so late maybe you had her approval maxed out.

As I recall, both Sera and Cass disapprove of doing the rituals and then allying with Abelas, presumably due to their Andrastean beliefs.

Well this is early in the new game. It's my second run-through. We're still at Haven and my char is lvl 11. Now it's possible that I've maxed out what I can do to this point or it was simply a glitch but I definitely was on the look out for some response from the companions and Cass, Sera and Viv were with me. That Viv gave nothing came as no surprise but the other two I thought were a shoo-in.

I didn't do many missions because i wanted to get Sera early on and instantly so i'd have her in my party when doing the rest of hinterlands missions and boy, the approvals from Sera were raining like mad.
Also LOL. Y'all remember this unlucky couple of mage and inquisition scout who were on a cute picnic date and were about to get it on and templars attacked? When i asked this poor scout about what happened...:

The scout also seems rather more concerned with not being found out for leaving her duty.It was a very strange reaction to the death of a friend/lover.
I felt sorry for the mage, actually.

Mine is too, looking at it. Cass could rise a bit after I do her romance. Currently it's a coin toss between her and Aveline. Also: You've really fallen back in love with Sera, then?
