It's becoming more common for people to be taught the original or correct names I guess than the anglicized versions. However it was not correct to label it a "misnomer". The name is correct but for English and not Francais.

If you're a completionist, you might find the Enhanced Edition of the second game as well, by the time you've finished those playthroughs.
