Oh indeed. I adore the Warden battlemage schematic, though. I had Tressa in that for quite a while...

The Templar mage armor (oxymoron?) looks... interesting.

That exists?
I never came across it...

What?
Pictures, or it did not happen.

Well, technically it's the Templar armor made with silverite (class bypass!) and put on a mage. It looks... interesting.
Edit: The guy on the left is wearing it.

Ah... You tricksy feline! Now I have to see that... Maybe tonight I'll load up Tressa's post-game save and head off to the Hissing Wastes for the schematic.

That's... Odd... It reminds me slightly of a Saarebas, actually.
Oh... it's page 2086? Time for some anime Thunderbirds, then...

I can't help but notice the necklace. So much bling!

I've just had the most anachronistic feeling of my childhood being destroyed.

That along with the high collar is what gives me a Saarebas vibe, I think. Not exactly the same sort of chain, but...
Josie romance is THE romantic romance. Like with all the other romances, a matter of personal taste
Me, i'm a secret romantic and the Josie romance was a 10/10 for me. The lack of sex-scene was a non-issue for me since i'm a follower of the Isabela school of sex and feelings, meaning that one has no particular connection to the other untill the the participants together decide otherwise
...Then again, i loved the roller-coaster ride that is the Sera romance as an elf. She and Josie are pretty much equally sweet in their ways, Sera is just a bit more roundabout in how she expresses it
I do like romantic romance crap but idk....I guess I don't like how it's done in her romance. Not a fan of the whole "dueling scene" thing to start.
And I do like a bit of drama, so Sera delivers on all of that

It was on TV when I was a kid, and it never held the same place in my heart as the re-runs of the original Gerry Anderson series. Just the page number randomly brought it to mind...
Let's post a countermeasure...
Actually if we're talking about a cross between anime and Gerry Anderson (and Star Wars), the one that holds a place in my heart is Star Fleet (X-Bomber)... I adored that show. More than Anderson's contemporary show Terrahawks, as it goes...
Edit: Also Brian May with Eddie Van Halen
Bah. Phonetics exam - wish me luck....

Good luck! I'm sure you won't need it. ![]()

I was thinking a show as eighties as Thunderbirds was sixties would be something to behold, but apparently it existed.

You always need luck.

Josie's is steady, safe, mellow, uber saccharine, if you want something easy going that's who you'd pick. The lack of a sex scene didn't bother me, more so the content of it felt lacking in comparison to a companion romance. Lots of folk enjoy it, thought it was alright but not worth replaying again.
Not a fan of the whole "dueling scene" thing to start.
Why?
I haven't seen it, so I don't have an opinion.

Weirdly the May/Van Halen song wasn't a part of the show as broadcast. As I recall the story, one of May's kids loved the song that played during the end credits, so he decided to do a cover, and of course he asked Van Halen to help, because why not? It's actually part of an EP they did together that features a couple of other songs...

You can YouTube it if you want.
You duel her fiance before you two are interrupted by her and he yields when you tell Josie you love her.
It's like watching a Disney movie. I'd call it a T-rated romance. It's cute and nicely written, but it's not for everyone.

It feels pretty corny at times, Lels was pretty romantic too but I was happy to replay that one over and over again, Josie's just feels too fairytale, eh once was enough.
Another day in the sera hate thread, awesome.
Not.
