What do people do when they're bored in small towns?

I grow up in a city.....
And while..I hate forest...and wildrness...here in canada they have some places that are in between . And once ya live there..ya dont miss the city that much . Unless like meh..ya are on foot and there is no freaking Bus or Metro...but thats about it . Its very quiet though and nothing ever happen..very Dull.....
I actually like nature and driving into the country to go to farmers markets and things and there is farmland not too far from me. But I couldn't camp. I do like the creature-comforts of urban living. I could do camping if it meant less a tent and more a cabin with a/c and mosquito protection. Last time I camped with a tent and stuff in the 90's it was god-awful. Woke in the middle of the night to find a horde of insects camped on my sleeping bag because we'd left the tent flaps open!

I've been a city girl my whole life. Could never live in a place with less than a million people.

The good thing about hiking and camping in the UK is that we have no predators bigger than a fox, no deadly spiders or scorpions and precisely one species of venomous snake... The lack of street lights, though? That can be an amazing thing on a cloudless night...
We got a lot of black bears in our region. That and black coyotes (foxes too) and the coyotes and bears sometimes make appearances in people's back yards round here. You have to be careful not to mistake them for some black-furred dog.
Funny story. Years ago in college we drove from the city to this state-park about 65 miles away because it had some odd stones that made chiming noises if you struck them. Just a joyride. Anyway here we are illegally in this park in the country at midnight and we turn the lights of the car off and...screaming hahaha cause it went pitch-black in a second. As city kids we were not expecting or ready for that!

Crim with manners would mess with my world!
I'll strive to continue being an ass when needed then. ![]()
As for Josie's opinion on Haven welp don't disagree with her myself, it's a dump but not as much of a dump as Kirkwall is. Shame I have Anders dead in 4/5 of my playthroughs thus far, I'm happy to level that cesspit otherwise.

Hey Thuuuuuuuuuuumpy !!
Watcha playing as now ?? and who are ya smoooching ??
I'm playing my usual elf that believes she's a human so she can romance Sera. Elf rift mage and I'm enjoying the mage play more than I thought I would. I just wish that my companions weren't so gullible, the bad guys scream 'get the warrior' then run right past my companions straight to my mage and my mage is like really Cass/Blackwall and Cole you're going to fall for that again. At least Sera has an excuse being an archer.
Next game will be elf rogue archer, I enjoyed the duel archers of my qunari game but just couldn't complete it. I've pretty much settled into elf/Sera play throughs from here on out. Even though BioWare is discouraging it elf/Sera look too damn cute together for me to enjoy anything else as well. I love that Sera is bigger and taller than my inquisitors it makes me swoon.

My wife thought that, but she loves York where we live. It's 200,000 people so it's not tiny. We've cinemas, theatres, concert venues, loads of pubs, bars and restaurants. Also it's 2 hours to London or Edinburgh on the train. 30 minutes to Leeds, 1hr to Newcastle, 1hr 20mins to Manchester which would all fit your definition of a city. That's just the scale of things in the UK, though...
