I don't plan to anytime soon. For me it's like a 4 hour drive to get there. But thanks for the tour offer.

I'm picturing it going "moooooooosssssseeeee."
Close enough...
You call that a moose? This is a moose!
*snip*
Hey Sera-ites, I'm going to be in England in May!
Where are the best places for tourists to check out?
What kind of stuff are you interested in seeing?
Which works great except for that one Dalish area
Keeper: "We noticed you were looting elvish graves while helping us. We disapprove."
Me: "You do know we're in an RPG, right?"
Keeper: "Nice try."
Her dialog is great in the Fade, and the conversation after.
Swinging for your head, nice to see you too Sera dear. ![]()
Now that I actually look at it, those are Canadian deer. *hangs head in shame*
Actually, those are Elks or Wapitis. This is a deer.

I want to live in your town. If I could see moose lying about on a regular basis, I'd be a happy person.
Just bows and crossbows and slings, or are there more you're looking at?
Well, pre-historic. So that's pretty much the first "recorded" usage of bows (recorded means they found them in graves dated around that time, I bet)
I'm going to jump into the "future" a bit and just tell the guy stuff about actual tactics.
He DID give me the topic when I stood up at parade rest and calmly stated my name, course of study, hometown and interests. All while staring straight ahead.
If he's expecting I WON'T stick some military in there somewhere, the guy's stupid.
This was my first quizzy, whose talks with Sera probably woke up the castle.
The tattoo was less pinkish in the CC
Spoiler
Woof.
I'm getting so many Merrill vibes with my elf.
She's a kind spirited, loves dalish culture, doesn't sass and isn't aggresive. She prefers to deal with things calmly.
... maybe that's why she's literally Merrill 2.0 Also the looks. Welp.
Remember to take pictures!
(I'm serious, if you managed her to look like Merrill, do share)
That's actually a random picture from Canada off the intertubes.
These are pictures from around where I live from my photobucket (which I still need to update with the 200+ photos I have taken in the last two years >.<)

From the looks of it, I'd say it's somewhere near Banff National Park. I've been there once. I saw a mother elk with her baby across the lake. ![]()

History, art, castles... I really loved Bath and the Tower of London when I was there last.
I want to mix up some new stuff with the places that I want to revisit.

Weston, actually.
Why not? You seem intelligent. And you obviously read Dune.. so you appreciate science and the vastness of time and space to some extent.
Okay, I suppose what I'm trying to get at is that physical size isn't the only scale.
Think of a computer, computers are complex, they're really, really complex. Not just the machinery (which is amazing) but the software. Programs are built using other programs which were built using programs before them. You have this ridiculously complex set of mathematics which makes up an image, and then you can use this stack of programs and network protocols to put that in a publicly available place called the internet - which is itself another maze of complexity - and using all that you give this image to your friends so you can make a cheap joke about a cat. We're sitting on this miracle of human engineering, with a history that stretches back to codebreaking and fire control solutions for submarines and we use it to make jokes about cats that aren't funny.
And that's amazing and mind-blowing and completely unimportant to a fifteen year old with depression.
The world is complex and has many aspects and they're all related and at times they can all dwarf each other. Space is amazing and physically incomprehensibly huge but is it actually bigger than a computer? Is a computer bigger than the Second World War? I thought I was sick of hearing about the Second World War then I started learning about entirely different aspects of the Second World War and I'm finding those fascinating.
I can appreciate the sentiment more now that I've thought about it. But it works both ways, space is amazing and it makes other things look simple and pointless, but compared to them space is also just cold machinery. Maybe that was always the point, I don't know, but it seems easy to get lost in.
I didn't do the Redcliffe/Mages scenario this time and did the Templar bit. I can say that the "In Hushed Whipers" is far more powerful and emotional than the Templar scenes which simply a lot of action. I may just do the mage path in all future playthroughs until I get sick of it.
Still prefer Champions of the Just though, better mission, rather have an army of ex-templars than mages, they are so bloody whiny in this game, allied or conscripted and Fiona is so incompetant smh.. Samson is really weak-sauce in comparison to Calpernia also.

I love Liverpool. Best damn coffee I've had in my life. Plus The Beatles!

Never had to fight Calpernia, hah! I figured Corypheus would do my work for me.

OK... thanks for writing. I care about the 15 yr olds with depression, so you know. ![]()
He never outright says it, but I think one of Sagan's main targets in these speeches is..... religion. Think of those guys who gunned down Charlie Hebdo. These are definitely people who need to step back and pan out... and see the planet.. then the universe as a whole.... and stop sweating the b.s. Because when you don't, you gun down cartoonists! ![]()

I haven't faced off with Calpernia yet and after Hushed Whispers I barely bothered with Fiona. Plus Red Templars made great foes.
I liked it better because:
1. It's a better introduction to Dorian and the sad history between him and Alexius gives some resonance to later when Dorian talks to you with those sad, watery, eyes of his.
2. What happens to Leliana is some strong stuff.
3. The whole what to do with Alexius and how to judge a man who does a great evil out of a great love. I found that very compelling but I am a story and narrative oriented guy sometimes.

Well make a stop in York then!
I can offer you a city founded by the Romans where Constantine the Great was proclaimed Emperor, that was a centre of Viking trade, the second city of England in medieval times, has city walls, a cathedral, a castle, loads of old buildings, and I'll be happy to show you around.
Other obvious places would be Stratford for Shakespeare stuff, with Warwick Castle not far from there. Edinburgh in Scotland. I mean this is all the normal tourist trail, but it's that for a reason.

I love The Beatles. Huge fan and I love Liverpool Football Club although this season it's all very painful. ![]()

You've sold me on York. I had planned to visit there anyway being familiar with it's rich Roman and Medieval history already.

I want to do the Champions of the Just mission. it's not happening organically. I haven't saw a benefit to it yet. Although I'm curious about the brother in there, Ser Barris is it? I fought Calpernia clones in multiplayer. Fade Step right through them.
Ser Barris is cool. Story is cool... Cole's intro is great. If you like Cass, then she gets an amulet of power and good Seeker shield schematic.
