I love The Beatles. Huge fan and I love Liverpool Football Club although this season it's all very painful.  :(

You should try being a fan of Leeds United...

In Hushed Whispers is great in how it gives you more information about the people you have with you.

Leliana goes through a year of torture and still doesn't spill the beans on you...it's hard not to respect and trust her as your Spymaster after that.

Sera keeps trying to recite the lines from that poem...it seems like it means a lot to her. I wonder why? It might be the one good thing she remembers from childhood.

She doesn't renounce her faith either. The lady is strong.

Well make a stop in York then!

I can offer you a city founded by the Romans where Constantine the Great was proclaimed Emperor, that was a centre of Viking trade, the second city of England in medieval times, has city walls, a cathedral, a castle, loads of old buildings, and I'll be happy to show you around.

Other obvious places would be Stratford for Shakespeare stuff, with Warwick Castle not far from there. Edinburgh in Scotland. I mean this is all the normal tourist trail, but it's that for a reason.

York sounds fantastic! <3

I adored Warwick Castle, the trebuchet and peacock gardens are simply incredible.

Stratford is also very cool. One of the shops had an eraser with the quote "Out damned spot!" I giggled for days about that.

Yeah they haven't really had a good spell since what...the 80's? The glory years were the Don Revie ones right and that's going back to the early 70's at least. But maybe there will be a great spell again soon. I get some of the Championship games on the Quatari sports network I get on cable.

Hmmm... Where else? Durham? Chester? Lincoln? Canterbury? There are plenty of old Cathedral cities that are worth visiting...

I want to do the Champions of the Just mission. it's not happening organically. I haven't saw a benefit to it yet. Although I'm curious about the brother in there, Ser Barris is it? I fought Calpernia clones in multiplayer. Fade Step right through them.

Ser Barris > Fiona

all day everyday.

Cole's introduction is really well done, the envy demon distorts your reality better I feel and still prefer it to lol magical time-travel just go with it. Calpernia is a far more compelling and fleshed out nemesis than Samson, feel more sorry for her than him, she's a true patriot, unlike that weak-sauce junkie.

I'm starting to think Uncle works for the York tourist board.

It is quite nice though.

He never outright says it, but I think one of Sagan's main targets in these speeches is..... religion. Think of those guys who gunned down Charlie Hebdo. These are definitely people who need to step back and pan out... and see the planet.. then the universe as a whole.... and stop sweating the b.s. Because when you don't, you gun down cartoonists!

For sure. There are plenty of times I'm left wondering 'how is that possibly worth killing someone over?' or increasingly 'of all the things you could have devoted your life to fighting for, you chose that?'.

Last league win (and only one in my lifetime) was actually more recent than Liverpool. The '91/92 season under Howard Wilkinson. We were in the semi-finals of the Champions' league back in 2001, and it's been downhill from there...

I have actually considered applying for a job there. I genuinely do love where I live.

Bah. I hate it when I get to my gaming PC for a bit, and wanna play and...

Ugh! War Thunder decided that today was it's bullsh*t day. Like 90% of the days I decide to turn the damn thing on.

So I guess it's a bit of Planetside before moving on to DAI.

Watched the ending of the story today - not on YT, the one I recorded, so it was Arianne...

And I nearly shed a tear! Hot damn. Many feelings. Much awesome.

(There's a #FirstWorldProblems hidden somewhere in there, I think...)

That's much better than Pool in the top tier then although we've been better in the Champions League since then (although I see nothing bright for the future-however these things turn on a dime anyway).

Seems the elves got the noble treatment really, got all the baggage and loathing. She got on far too well with my human, so much for hating titles Sera.

Sera dislike nobles when they use their power to abuse the little people and look down on them, not all nobles in-general

They really should have had someone new instead of Samson, and just have him be a high ranking Red Templar somewhere

I'm playing DA2 and based on what happens in DAI, I'm not recommending that he rejoins the Templars. Not that it will change anything...just my little "take that!" moment for Samson. He's such a sad lot in that game. Then shows up with armor and balding hair in DAI like he's owed something.

Liverpool in the 80s were a thing of beauty though... Dalglish, Barnes, Souness, Molby, Rush. Hansen at the back... (Am I actually talking about football in a thread about a videogame character? That's a new one even for here!)

I've met Sera Keith I'm aware. Dalish are seen as the nobles of the elves to some hence why I said an elven Inquisy gets all her baggage, my human noble got on far too easily with her. I expected real tension there, not in my elven one. And I've heard the dozen or so theories as to why Sera has all these hang-ups, nothing is surprising me anymore.

Just got a bit of headcanon to justify the quest markers, the enemy radar and the sensing of neary objects to be found: The Maker is guiding us. The fact that He leads us to so many bottles hints that the path to redemption is through drinking. *nod nod*

Let's get to it!

Calpernia is the only reason i'm willing to do the Champions of Just. Damn. Much more deep character than Samson tbh (shame we didn't get more with Samson as well, seemed pretty interesting as a character)

Also Calpernia is hot as hell, hold me everyone.

Hahaha well we better wind it up before we lose the partisans patience! I will say this though: We couldn't see the game in the 80's over here. So that means I miss the Reds best era and I have to go to youtube if I want to see King Kenny in action etc. I finally got the right cable package in 2006 and I went for Torres and Gerrard and stayed with them even after Nino split. But it's a measure of how the game has grown over here that there was zero tv coverage in say, 1985 and now I can get all the Prem games on the weekends (all of them), Champions League, FA Cup , Spanish Primera, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga etc live and in HD. Love the new century! I can also get Prem Rugby matches now and Cricket and you would never have seen that stuff even 10 years ago here.

I think all Inquisitors sort of count as having bigger hats than a human noble by virtue of their Inquisitorness. Sera gives you a few ribs over that.

Champions of the Just is interesting and gives you Calpernia, but then again I do like In Hushed Whispers more as an overall quest and thus considers it my canon.

Leliana's involvement in the latter is a big reason I prefer that quest.
