Calpernia is the only reason i'm willing to do the Champions of Just. Damn. Much more deep character than Samson tbh (shame we didn't get more with Samson as well, seemed pretty interesting as a character)
Also Calpernia is hot as hell, hold me everyone.
I only caught a glimpse of Calpernia on the mount with Corypheus so far but yeah she is hot. I hope she'll prove a more spectacular contest than Samson did.

Well basically that whole episode.

Her role was pretty minor. I was actually more intimidated by Samson on my mage playthrough, but that's probably just me.
I think I'm going to run away to a thread where they don't talk about sports.
You're all heathens!

I found him to be a pretty tough boss fight. That whirlwind thing he does almost wiped me and it's hard to engage him in melee because of it.

Didn't you get Dagna's awesome rune of remote control?

Just think of him as a crackhead. It'll be OK. ![]()

He's definitely a tougher boss than Calpernia. But you can make him easier to deal with with Dagna's help.
I was able to beat Calpernia on Nightmare with little to no problems, and I don't think you can do tricks to her like with Samson.

It's not always so bad. Does anyone still have those handball pictures?

Yes! I used it and she was still whirling like mad and cutting down my health so I was half through the potions. I switched to tac cam and spread out my ranged fighters and that took him down quick but the key is to spread everyone out on him. He's still tough even after the armour gets weakened.

So it's not Dagna to the rescue then?

Not 100% positive but I don't think so.
I really found her a lot easier than Samson.

On hard I didn't find him to be a difficult fight at all. Just eliminate his lieutenants quickly and then grind him down slowly... Then again I use tac cam as a matter of course in a boss fight...

*sideways glance of suspicion* ...Well alright... if you promise...

Probably right.
The only time I went on a meth binge (true confessions), I stayed up for four days, and got in a fight on the last, with some dude who jumped on my back and punched me like 20 times. I laughed the whole time. Finally hit him one time and split his nose.
Still though. Just say no, kids.

I got it once and then skipped the Emerald graves the second time. So I've faced him both times.
Somehow he was way harder to defeat with no armour at level 25 than he was with armour at level 19. No idea how.

We're done and just to reassure you I promise that I don't like hockey. ![]()

Well it's not so much a trick, but if you get all Calpernia scenes/areas then you can choose to not fight her at all!

Good.
Figure skating is the only redeemable sport in my eyes.

I sometimes forget to jump to tac-cam for a boss fight but it's a good idea. I did find the fight went better after I switched to it and made sure everyone who was not melee stayed clear of him. I haven't mastered the "hold position" thing yet. I keep giving the order and I'll watch in frustration as Solas rushes in anyway!
