It lets you know that the sentence is a question or exclamation from the start, instead of just at the end.

In my first game I got Cass but I replayed to try and get Sera's confession scene and although I thought that I made all the same decisions Vivienne ended up Devine. I either missed something or I just don't have a clue. Probably both.

I've gotten Leliana every time (four tries).

I'm sure that says something about my play style.

Were you pro-mage in convo points, do you always ally with them? I need to google what to do for my elf run, need Lels back on the sunburst throne.

Yeah, I usually take the more Chantry critical options.

I conscripted the Templars once and still got Leliana...That makes sense too I suppose.

Hmmm....I help Briala out too (make her shadow ruler or reconcile with Celene) so that might lean to Leliana. I think just putting Celene on the throne is points for Vivienne and Gaspard is Cassandra.

Weird thing is I reunited Celene and Briala for the first time in my 3rd run, but still ended up with Viv and I was pretty critical of the Chantry *shrugs* so random for me.

I freed the mages and saved Celene on my first playthrough and let her keep the throne. Ended up with Leliana.

 

On my second playthrough I was pro-templar and forced the three of Gaspard, Celene and Briala to work together. Got Cassandra. 

 

Seems to me that what you do with the mages/templars is the deciding factor as to who is assigned as Divine.

Hum...I did the same...well save for letting mage go free and made all those 3 doo doo head to work together and end up with Leliana .

Change of subject, but I somehow ended up with a mage cowl. So my quizzy is sporting a sweet hood! Nice!

That's what Arianne wore most of the time. Then I got the Inquisitor Helmet so she wore that for a bit.

 

In the end, she ended up with the Dalish Scout Armor colored the same way as Merrill's DA2 armor, and no helmet.
