sadly no, I was going to be doing a dark heresy campaign, but the dm fell through on the plans and we went with a normal dnd campaign instead. I still blame him for sparking my interest in the series.
That's a shame. I actually really enjoyed it but where I went to play ended up not making enough money - no surprise there - so I don't play anymore and sold all of my armies. I had the coolest Grey Knight army going. Nothing could beat it... except the damn Orcs.

Pretty common confusion there. Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland together form the Nordics and we co-operate on a lot of things. Scandinavia is more of a geographic termInteresting. Over here, people would add Iceland and Finland to that, but I defer to the knowledge of a Finn.
I am aware that Finnish as a language is entirely unrelated to the others.
Earn a doctorate here and you get a fancy hat and a swordIs it true that in Finland, when you finish a Masters Degree or something equal to that - not really sure - you get a sword?

Here's the thing about the table top game. It can be really, really fun and worth getting into, but be prepared to work or time or get a 2nd job to support your habit. Because if you do get sucked into the table top, it will become a full blown habit. I don't even really want to think about the amount of money I have spent over the years building my army and buying the more collector specific stuff.

Though in that bunch we are the odd one out, the Scandinavians being descent from the Germanic tribes in language and custom while ours come from the Fenno-Ugric tribes.

F*ck Czech Republic! I'm moving to Finland and getting a doctorate. I'll do it for the sword!

Trust me, I know about table top gaming and its.... money draining habits. I've got maybe half of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, 3.0-3.5, and its already cost me like... a couple hundred at least? each one is about $30+

It can get expensive but you don't need a lot to have a fun game. 500pt armies per player would cost about £60 in total, if you know what you are actually building.

You don't need to though in order to have a laugh between friends. If you are actually going for some title then yes, prepare to fork out the money. I think in total, my army was about £3-400. Ridiculous, yes but I enjoyed doing it.

Oh please, you can act all high and mighty as you want. But we both know your Emperor is nothing but a pile of bones on a throne and you are being lead around by a group of people who took his power for their own gain years ago. I also know you have been dying to see what really goes on in a pleasure cult since the moment you where told about them.
