well there is some romance content tied to the Main quest I believe.......so ya wont get that until ya do main quest...

 What part of the main quest? 

I can't vouch for it working but some people have mentioned needing to completely exhaust her dialogue tree at Skyhold before the romance progresses. Except the kick option, obviously.

What part of the main quest?

Each companion has at least one "major" conversation after each of the main plot missions: In Your Heart Shall Burn, Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, Here Lies the Abyss, What Hath Pride Wrought. These offer easy opportunities for approval, which can help progress a romanced companion's relationship.

Some companions also gate their "loyalty" missions - and therefore, relationships - behind main plot missions in addition to their approval gates. Vivienne's and Blackwall's companion quests comes after Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts. Cole's and Varric's come after Here Lies the Abyss. Sera's is gated behind a couple of War Table operations.

This only works for Bull, I think.

Her and Varric are staples of my dragon hunting team and I've never gotten approval for it.

I just can't suspend my disbelief at watching Captain America beat up Georges St Pierre (Batroc), thus I find myself unable to watch it.

I know it's fictional and all but still, its too much for me.
