There was something else in my play this weekend that was confusing and perhaps someone here has the answer.
You get disapproval from Sera for banishing the Wardens. I know I did.
Yet when you talk to her after the mission she badmouths the Wardens. Talks of how they robbed the people of Denerim and made things worse. Very confusing then as you'd think she'd have been happy you sent them away? I suspect this has something to do with fear of magic though doesn't it?
She probably realizes how important they are. Not only as Darkspawn killers, but symbols of hope in dark times. Also despite her having really black and white views on nobility and those below them, she does seem to be well aware of the grey areas as well.
I find the Temple of Dirthamen very scary. It gets unlocked by doing the Scattered Glyphs quest that Keeper Hawen tells you about in the Exalted Plains.

Well, that would depend on the range. At grappling range swords hinder more than help and pens actually make for decent shanks as they are if you know where to stick them.....

I'm torn between liking and despairing of the Emerald Graves. There's nothing specifically offensive about it (other than the colour which is headache inducing)...
I think I'm starting to get bored of the maps. I just want to play Halamshiral over and over, don't make me go close more rifts!
